Jullie Yap of the Manila Bulletin, Mandy Navasero of the Philippine Daily Inquirer and myself had a magical experience last weekend courtesy of someone we don’t know and we haven’t met.
Through a friend who want to remain anonymous, we were extended an invitation for a three-day visit to Macau. Accommodation: The Venetian.
Off we went last Thursday. I’ve never been to the The Venetian Las Vegas but those who have been there say the one in Macau is much, much bigger.
Macau- Nakakatuwa pala dito sa Macau. Parang hindi ka umalis sa Pilipinas.Kahit saan ka mapunta may Filipino.
Bumili kami ng ice cream sa food court ng The Venetian nina Jullie Yap-Daza ng Manila Bulletin at Mandy Navasero ng Philippine Daily Inquirer. Filipina ang sales girls.
Sumilip kami sa Four Seasons, isang first class hotel katabi ng The Venetian, at ang doorgirl o tagabukas ng pinto ay Filipina. Maganda siya at magaling ang kanyang English diction. Dati raw siyang nagtatrabaho sa Legenda Hotel sa Subic bago siya nakuha rito sa Macau.
