Antonio Trillanes IV, senatorial candidate of the Genuine Opposition, has admitted that four years of detention has sharpened his understanding of the political crisis confronting the country today.
In an interview in his detention cell in Camp Bonifacio, Trillanes offers no apology to what he and some 300 members of the Magdalo group did last July 27, 2003, which was to declare a withdrawal of support from a president who they believe betrayed the trust of the people.
