I’m not sure if this is the right place for “Asthma Blues, but here I’m anyway. Quite sorry to read your very touching article and your hospital experienced, kinda sad and I want you to know that all of us here care much of what happen to you, speaking for everyone if I may. It was kind of you and generous to share your personal suffering, and anyone at all deserve a break, perhaps the name Ellen Tordesillas. I wish you nothing but the best of everything and I hope that you’ve a full complete recovery. Goodluck to you Ellen, and may god bless you!

  3. Thanks, Toney. Up to now,we still don’t have electricity but I’m coping. I have to.

You are right, “Tickled Pink” is for women only. But i know some of the husbands of the survivors are also helping out.

    Ellen,

Napanood ko kagabi(Oct 03) ang Reporter’s Notebook sa GMA channel 7 ang “Wari, Cancer and Kule” ni Maki Pulido.

Yung feature kagabi ay tungkol sa breast cancer at yung sa Kule.

  5. a staff of Reporter’s Notebook told me to watch it but we had no electricity.

Now, finally after a week of being “powerless”, we now have power! What a blessing! Thanks God. what’s ‘kule”?

    Hi Ellen,
I share in the worries and anxieties of those afflicted with the disease. I myself is very much worried that someday it will get into me. I have two aunts and a sister-in-law who succumbed to this dreadful disease. I know that its kind of hereditary, in the family genes so I have to take some precautionary steps to fight it by having an annual mammo. Just hearing the word C scares the whole of me, because I know how deadly, having seen it myself how it devoured the body of those people close to me. As my family doctor relates to me, if you are a smoker, at least you know where you get it, but if you are clean and one morning you woke up with it , then only God knows where it come from. The good thing is that this disease is now beatable, thanks to the continuous research by those people dedicated to the control or complete eradication of this disease called the Big C.
I have only prayers and best wishes for those people and their families who are under pain and agony brought by the big C , and also for those who survived the fangs of this disease. May they have the strength and will to cope and lick this affliction, with the help of Someone up there.

PS: Is there a new poster by the name of Florry? I saw from the other thread and I am sure its not me.
