I respect Col Querubin on his heroic war exploits. I guess Me and some others would need enlghtenment why he was taken to jail. Yes, he was charged but what did he really do. If it was that televised incident at the Marine grounds Feb 2006, it was just a domestic squabble, and marine elements taking sides. Its a common occurrence, like when army units and marine units are on board the same ship, they would settle matters with gunfights in full nattle gears ashore. Or army units on R & R would attack a coast guard unit after a drinking spree.
Val, it is a long story why Gen Lim and Col Querubin and company ended up in jail. But in a nutshell, they had the balls to approach Senga on the junior officers’ complaints on having been used in the 2004 election rigging plus some other demoralization issues. They were to join the rally then to show a withdrawal of support from the evil bitch whom they perceived as a cheat and a liar. But these men were prevailed upon by their superiors and no one ended up marching on the streets. The asspweron used these men to “show off” to his patron “the evil bitch” that he was worth pound for pound to be her “lapdog” “CHEAT of STAFF” thus he created the kangaroo court to try them.
The incident in Fort Bonifacio has long been dropped, in Feb 2008. The charges prescribed. Since these offences were not tried within the two year period, the charges were dropped altogether.
I really do not know how the hell the kangaroo court can prove the mutiny charges on the incarcerated. Mutiny is only a crime against a superior “in uniform” not the illegal president who is a civilian. I am not an authority to the military laws but I know for a fact that the article in mutiny is definitely not the same as the article on “disrespect of the president”, illegal at that!
Their continued incarceration and useless hearings after hearings in the kangaroo court are simply to keep them locked up while the criminal leaders and their lapdog generals enjoy the perks in their stolen positions! The good officers are locked up and the known corrupt and so so officers like the John Rat Martir who went awol for more that a year lord over the prostituted AFP! Thanks to the asspweron for making the AFP worse that it ever was after Enrile,Ramos and Reyes!

I see they had an open forum with superiors and that is normally exercising freedom of speech in the unit, military or crporate and may reach even to word wars. All things taken up may be recorded but do not necessarily be taken against the source. Can you imagine if all talks on the boobs of so and so or the tryist tales mentioned freely at the wardrooms are taken against the speakers. We’d fill the brigs with all the active officers and soldiers. If the matter was to join the other side, an advise not to go ahead would be enough. They didnt so what were the charges for. Senga must be a real dope, not a soldier or a leader. Perhaps, a tuta. Well, actually, leaders nowadays are mostly PMAs synonymous with every kind of alleged ills. Better to study changing them with the services of the true other side, the patriotic NPAs.

Marami sa atin ang nalulungkot sa kanilang situasyon subalit marami rin sa mga matataas na opisyal sa AFP ang natutuwa lalo na yung mga dupang sa puwesto at lasing sa kapangyarihan. Para sa kanila, ang tuloy na pagkapiit ng mga opisiyal na mga ito ay para mawala ang sagabal sa kanilang hangarin na umupo sa mataas o pinaka mataas na puwesto sa AFP. Hindi nila kayang lumaban ng patas, ganun ka-simple. Kung ako sa kanila, hindi ko matitigan ang mukha ko sa harap ng salamin habang suot ko ang aking uniporme.
