Ito ang statement ni Ermita:“President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has directed a new paradigm in the peace process by mandating that peace negotiations be refocused from one centered on dialogue with rebels to one of authentic dialogue.”
Hindi ko ma-translate sa tagalog dahil hindi ko maintindihan ang ibig sabihin. Ang nakukuha ko lang ay mas uunhain daw ang pakikig-usap sa mga taong apektado kaysa mga rebelde. Ngayon lang nila alam yan?
Ang nawalan na ngayon ng papel ay si Gen. Rodolfo Garcia, ang hepe ng Philippine panel sa negosasyon sa MILF. Kawawa naman si Garcia kaya lang nagpagamit naman siya.
Kasama siya sa nanggagago sa taumbayan. Sinabi niya sa Supreme Court na wala raw siyang authority para pumirma ng Memorandum of Agreement on Ancestral Domain (MOA-AD) na dapat pinirmahan niya, ni Hermogenes Esperon, presidential adviser on Peace Process at saksihan ni Foreign Secretary Alberto Romulo.
Kung wala siyang authority, bakit siya pumunta doon sa Kuala Lumpur noong Aug. 5. Mabuti lang pinigilan ng Supreme Court.
Sa tatlong hearing ng Supreme Court, nabuking na maraming paglabag sa Constitution ang ipinangako ng goveernment panel sa MILF. Dahil autorisada sila ni Arroyo, nanganib ang pekeng president na ma-impeach o makasuhan ng treason. Kaya ‘yan sinabi ni Solicitor General Agnes Devanadera na hindi raw nabasa ni Arroyo ang MOA-AD.
Akala ni Devanadera tanga tayo.

Akala kasi nila makakuha sila ng magandang terms dahil mahina si Arroyo. Hindi niya alam tuso ang kausap niya.
Bakit hindi pa sini-sibak sina Garcia at Assperon? Paki-erase na rin si Norberto Gonzales. Dahil sa kanilang kapalpakan sumiklab ang gulo sa Mindanao. Paano ngayon ang mga libo-libong refugees at namatay sa cross-fire?

Kaya kung may pinirmahan na papeles sa MOA-AD at nasasaad doon na magiging federalismo ang gobyerno natin, bagamat wala o bawal sa konstitusyon natin at hindi aprobado ng mamayan natin, ay yoon ang masusunod ayon sa international law. The ulterior motive of Gloria with her MOA-AD to extend her term beyond 2010 miserably failed. She is now trying to move as fast as she can to initiate other alternatives. Her panicking and overwhelming fear of losing her term is detrimental to the country.
Her next move is to provoke the MILF to escalate their arms struggle and terrorism with her DDR plan which she knows is totally unacceptable to the MILF. She will then justify declaring Martial Law with the escalated war and eventually, extending her term.
In parallel with her DDR plan is her push to amend the constitution despite the trashing of the MOA-AD.
There are big reasons why she canceled her US trip. It could be the declaration of Martial Law if the condition in Mindanao worsens. According to a tv documentary that I saw from one of the program of Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) about Afghanistan, the modus operandi of US before they sent their troops there is to send their CIA agents first to hook up with the local tribal leaders that they can bribe so as not to harm the US troops. Also, to survey the local area’s population, dangers around the area, identify possible problems, etc…..
Before building those military facilities in Zambo, the CIA agents were sent first to survey the area if it is a viable location. That’s why Philippine Star’s report about the CIA agents are all over Mindanao, is absolutely true. I bet they are also all over Sulu, Basilan, and Palawan.
