SAGOT NI ELLEN T. TORDESILLAS TUNGKOL SA SINABI NI PANGULONG DUTERTE NA SIYA AY MAY KANSER AT NANGHIHINGI SIYA NG PERA
Nagugulantang ako sa mga maling impormasyun na pinagsasabi Pangulong Duterte tungkol sa akin.
Para sa tamang kaalaman ni Duterte ito ang totoo:
1.Wala na akong kanser. Matagal na akong gumaling sa sakit na kanser. Taong 2003 pa.
2.Kahit noong ginagamot ang aking kanser, hindi ako humingi ng pera sa ibang tao. Ang tumulong sa akin ay si Jake Macasaet, ang yumaong publisher ng Ang Pahayagang Malaya, kung saan ako nagtatrabaho noon at hanggang ngayon ay may kolum.
May dalawang senador na kahit hindi ako humingi, sumulat sa Philippine General Hospital, kung saan ako nagpapagamot, at nagsabi i-credit sa kanilang Priority Development Assistance Fund ang aking bill sa kuarto. Walang cash na binigay sa akin.
3.May dalawang politiko na nagpadala ng cash sa akin. Ibinigay ko ang pera sa PGH Medical Foundation na tumutulong sa mga mahihirap na pasyente sa PGH. Ipinadala ko sa dalawang politiko ang resibo.
Palagi ko sinasama sa aking dasal ang kapakanan ng ating bayan, na sana katotohanan ang mananaig sa isip ng bawat isa sa atin kasama na si Pangulong Duterte.
that’s terrible! sobrang sobra na ang pangbu-bully ni duterte kay ellen. everybody gets sick and we all have right to get well. so what kung tinulungan si ellen upang gumaling? ellen is lucky and fortunate na may tumulong sa kanya, be they politikos or others, helped her meet medical expenses. where would vera files be without ellen?
low blow talaga ito coming from a president. hindi sa ganong money laundering ang nagawa ni ellen at hindi sa ganong ghost patient siya o nagnakaw ng limpak limpak ng pera sa kaban ng bayan.
and ellen is not the only one that has received medical help, duterte should not begrudge. I am happy there are good and kind people around that lend hand and help others just when others are sick and vulnerable.

hindi malversation of fund ang nagawa ni ellen, hindi gaya ng 5million hudcc fund na ginamit to fund the pilgrimage of 28 (?) displaced maranoans to mecca. methink, hush trip yata yan; maybe to silence the maranoans, make them malleable and less vocal to the slow to the very slow rebuilding of marawi city. or maybe, no rebuilding at all!
saka, unlike ellen who was upfront of her condition, I seriously doubt if hudcc was upfront, and gave the maranoans informed choice: that the mecca trip will be funded from money taken off housing. trip or housing? and had the maranoans known then, would they still go?
dapat hindi agyabyado si duterte: those that give financial medical help to ellen were informed and knew where their money went.
