1.Inside story: Hyatt 10 vs Kamag-anak Inc.

The fight between the “Noy-Mar” and “Noy-Bi” advocates has been traced to the rivalry between the Hyatt 10 and groups identified with the so-called Kamag-anak Inc. of ex-Tarlac Rep. Jose Cojuangco, the Philippine Daily Inquirer has learned from sources in the camp of presidential front-runner Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.
The “Noy-Bi” tandem of Aquino for president and Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay for vice president was purportedly fielded to derail the “Noy-Mar” tandem of Aquino and Sen. Manuel “Mar” Roxas II, which was seen as “not good” for Cojuangco and his allies, the sources said.
Pastor “Boy” Saycon, who is Cojuangco’s colleague in the Council for Philippine Affairs (Copa), which was pushing for the “Noy-Bi” tandem, denied Cojuangco’s involvement. “Peping is out of this,” Saycon said.
The so-called Kamag-anak Inc. refers to the relatives of Aquino who were allegedly involved in corrupt activities that tainted the administration of his mother, Cory Aquino, from 1986 to 1992.
2.Quite another story (part I)

The rift was never between the Kamag-anak Inc. and the Hyatt 10. From the start, the rift was between the reformist volunteer groups and the trapo political party.
The political party went beyond the Liberal Party. It consisted of, one, the Liberal Party itself, represented by Mar Roxas and Butch Abad, last seen before Cory died and Noynoy became the presidential bet busily organizing the “Mar for President” campaign and getting nowhere. Two, the “Hyatt 10,” represented by Cesar Purisima and Dinky Soliman, last seen the eve before Cory asked GMA to resign in the wake of “Hello Garci” singing fervently in support of GMA “If We Hold On Together,” in lieu of “Ring around the rosie/ A pocketful of posies/ Ashes! Ashes!/We all fall down!” They too, showing a horrendous sense of entitlement instead of a shameful show of contrition, were last seen before Cory died and Noynoy became the presidential bet busily organizing the “Mar for President” campaign and getting nowhere. Three, “The Firm,” represented by Nonong Cruz, last seen before Cory died and Noynoy became the presidential bet busily organizing the “Mar for President” campaign and getting nowhere.

Not quite incidentally, by volunteers I do not mean Dinky Soliman, who presumed to call the shots for them. The volunteers volunteered not because of Dinky Soliman but in spite of Dinky Soliman. She did not animate them, she dispirited them. She did not call the shots for them, she shot them.
“Should we categorize the maneuverings of a Peping Cojuangco under the pleasing rubric of ‘volunteer group’?”
Who says we should? The Peping camp never figured in the rift until much later, but only in a fringe way, only in a marginal way, only in a way that added insult to the injury. Only Dinky and her group say otherwise. Dinky’s Kamaganak vs. Hyatt 10 proposition is not just misleading, it is devious. Unless corrected, she and her group can always depict any effort to bypass them, or criticize them, or indict them as an effort by the “corrupt” to thwart the “reformists.” Like I said the last time, no way in hell they are the reformists. The volunteers are.
While at that, what exactly were/are “the maneuverings of a Peping Cojuangco”? That’s innuendo. Facts, please.

Thank you Ellen for exposing in the other thread yung mga ginawa ng The Firm. Many of us did not know the extent of their activities.
Kaya nga, we pray that soon to be President Noynoy will have his eyes open and be aware of the dangers being presented by the 3 groups De Quiros mentioned: 1. Hyatt 10 2. The Firm 3. LP (including Drilon, Mar, Abad, Pangilinan, etc)
We all want change for the better but these three groups only have vested self-interests.
In his first month in office , Pres Noynoy could dismiss and file charges against corrupt high ranking gov’t officials and corrupt judges, to show his determination and sincerity about his campaign promise against corruption…

He knew what he was up against when he finally decided to run as president. If he was not, then we have another disaster waiting on the sidelines.
Except for gloria whose motives to rule was to PLUNDER the national coffers and leave with a scorched earth, all leaders are expected to to do their utmost best to aver calculated decisions on issues based on imperfect informations. The presidency, as Noynoy should know, is not an OJT.

Whatever is being said in the airwaves and print media are all meritless, therefore it’s better to save those tirades and incendiary remarks until the names of who is who in his executive branch are identified.

When Noynoy’s numbers started to plunge and then recovers permanently, he gives credit to the reformist volunteers while he blames the LP trapos, the Hyatt 10, and Kamaganak Inc. for the big downslide. We all know that it was black prop that dealt Villar the fatal blows, especially the tag “Villarroyo” or Gloria’s secret candidate. Who was responsible for it? The “reformists” he says? It is now “reform” to engage in mudslinging?
So Chiz Escudero aided by erstwhile campaign manager Lito Banayo and Serge Osmeña are suddenly Noynoy’s campaign saviors. The former, directly discrediting a future presidential opponent by endorsing Binay whose numbers at the time have not even surpassed Mar’s. Mar has served 2 past presidents well, did a good job in enticing big foreign conglomerates to set up their HQs here at the same time silently worked to bring down the cost of popular drugs. No taint of corruption, and here is De Quiros’ reformists endorsing a known corrupt mayor.
While the LP Trapos as he calls them, and the Hyatt 10 worked for a Noynoy-Mar which was the only right thing to do after they stabbed Roxas in the back, Conrad exalts the other side who dumped Roxas, the reformist volunteers, he says.
That is how he defines “reformist”?
He ought to have his head examined.
Conrad has to dig deeper than the camp intramurals. He should ask himself why many mayors including those from MM had Gibo-Binay, Noynoy-Binay, and Villar-Binay on their official party sample ballots. And as confirmed to me personally by Mar’s campaign manager (Chito G), it was the same “across the country”, he said.
What was in it for them to junk their own party’s VP candidate in favor of a corrupt mayor of a small city? Something sinister? Who funded it? Big Pharma getting back at Roxas for the billions they lost in the cheaper meds law? Escudero’s “ninongs” and “ninang” collecting payback?
FG Mike Arroyo is again weaving his powerful web. He is putting at least 15 billion pesos for his Plan A-Plan B scenario.
If you remember, Noynoy Aquino said before the election that if he loses the presidential election, then there is cheating involved. So FG’s think-tank thought of using a reverse scheme. They manipulated the automated election in such a way that their local candidates (Congressman, governors, etc.) would win, but also make Noynoy win. It was done in the provinces of Pangasinan, Isabela, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, Cebu, Iloilo, Samar, Lanao del Sur, Cagayan de Oro, some parts of Metro Manila and the ARMM. It covered around 6.3 million + votes. In the presidential tally, the votes were taken from Estrada, Villanueva, Gordon and transfered to Aquino.
This is Plan A: FG made Noynoy win. He wants to have a compromise agreement with Noynoy, which he could not do with Estrada, and it has become mathematically impossible to accomplish the plan to make Villar or Teodoro to win. Since the cheating favors Noynoy, the latter is estop from eventualities.
In all the 5 powerful groups within LP, FG has a man scheming and trying to bargain in FG’s behalf. The Plan A compromise is this: 1. A case will be filed against GMA and his family but the case will just drag for 6 years without resolution. 2. At least 4 of FG’s men will be posted on Noynoy’s cabinet, most specifically in the Justice Department.
Noy-Bi …backed up and funded by the Kamaganak Inc., the group of Boy Saycon & some business group na dikit sa namayagpag nung term ni Cory.

Ang intramurals sa inner circle ni Noynoy ay problema niya, basta tuparin niya ang mga pangakong binitawan sa campaign trail dahil mas importante yan para sa ordinaryong botantes.
