The latest pre-election survey of Pulse Asia showed former President Estrada of Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino tied in second place with Nacionalista Party’s Manuel Villar with 20 percent each.
Liberal party’s Benigno Simeon Aquino III surges some more to 39 percent for a 19 point lead over his two closest rivals.
In the vice-presidential, it’s no longer an overwhelming lead by LP’s Mar Roxas. PMP’s Jejomar Binay made a remarkable 9-point
increase.Unlike Roxas’ 20- point lead over Nacionalista Party’s Loren Legarda last month, his lead over a resurgent Binay is only nine percent.

The next step for the presidential wannabes is to court INC and Mike Velarde. Like what I just mentioned on the other thread, Erap has the edge if it’s between him and Noynoy. I have this gut feeling that INC will not endorsed Noynoy for a lot of reasons. But I may be wrong though. As for El Shaddai, it’s a given that the members is for Erap. A few weeks ago, when Velarde invited the candidates in one of their gatherings, Erap got the louder applause from it’s members compared to Villars.

Erap shouldn’t win, it’s embarrasing if he does. While presidents/mayors/etc in other countries resign or get impeached due to illicit adventures (bjs, prostitutes, etc) this guy parades his mistresses and children out of wedlock…we will again be the laughing stock of the international community and more erap jokes will come out…
All Noynoy has to do if he becomes president, is to restore the institutions (so we can have the checks and balances again), remove the incumbent corrupt public officials, and go after Gloria, Villar, FG, Jocjoc, generals, etc (via Lacson of course), then relinquish after his term ends. He has nothing to prove, just do his job, anyway, he never had any ambitions to be president in the first place…we on the other hand need to work together and for pete’s sake stop blaming others, even the government for our lot in life.

She would never understand this. As she thought, being an ambassador all that she was supposed to do was to attend high society balls, meet and rub elbows with dignitaries, cut ribbons, and stand as godmother to baby taipans. She never entertained the possibility of being mistaken as a pig in her host country, and being hog-tied and barbecued for the feast of the village chieftain. A post-menopausal, seemingly educated someone named Carmen Pedrosa would not understand this because she had a perfect life where everything just fell into place until she was denied the position of ambassador. Of course, at the last minute, she would have settled for any position with the word ambassador – even as ambassador of goodwill to the mini harem of Maguindanao. But she was not appointed because she had a perfect life. So she grew old, bitter, cranky, and mentally imbalanced especially if she saw the color yellow or the word Aquino. Of course, all these issues about a certain Carmen Pedrosa I only heard from very reliable sources. And of course, these issues were unverified. And I leave it to the readers and the journalists to verify these issues.

Right now, lumalabas na ang isyu ng mental health ni Noynoy. His Doctor in the U.S. is named already in the news. And Noynoy is deying that he did not undergo a pschiatric treatment way way back. If there is already a general concensus that the mental health of an indivudual be disclosed, this will be a hard one for Noynoy who continuously say in his ads na walang ititnatago. This time, if public clamor wants it, mahihirapan si Noynoy na di patulan ang isyu especially if Malacanang makes an issue out of it and if there are propagandas that will push for it.
I don’t know if his denial mode will last until election day and if this will not greatly affect him.
As for Erap, yung disqulification case nya sa SC may be revived and this will surely affect his standing since there is no assurance that he can sit as president even if he wins because of the constitutional ban on e president seeking reelection.
Two weeks to election, Noynoy’s “supposed” psychiatric treatment in the US won’t affect him anymore. Ang mga boboto kay Noynoy already made up their minds. Noynoy’s number is consistent with the latest meron pang gain. Look closely, ang nagsasayaw ay numero ni Villar at Erap, silang dalawa ang naghihilahan. Nagboomerang kay Villar and unang dalawang reports na pinalabas kuno ng Ateneo. Yang pangatlo ay hindi na papansinin. Bet?
Tanong ko lang in fairness sa isyu na ito. Ano ang mali sa isang tao kung undergo man siya ng psychiatric treatment? Sa Amerika, malungkot lang ang bata o kahit matanda ay bisita kaagad sa shrink. Normal lang yan. Wala namang nakikitang ebidensya sa ginagawa ni Noynoy ngayon na luko-luko sya.
Sa grabeng pinagdaanan ng mag-anak na Aquino ng panahon ni Marcos, nagtataka nga ako at hindi lahat sila ay reported na bumibista sa shrink.
Kung iyan lang ang isyu na ibabato nila kay Noynoy hanggang eleksyon, Villar might as well say goodbye to presidency. Hindi kinakagat ng tao, dapat umisip ng ibang isyu na talagang didikit kay Noynoy. Paano ba yan e si Erapski din ay tumitira kay Villar, kabi-kabilang bato kay Villar na hindi naman masagot. Orson, please watch/read the news correctly. That doctor you mentioned that Noynoy allegedly consulted is already DEAD. His wife came out with a statement that her husband (the doctor) never conducted any test on Noynoy.
Turns out that the Doc and wife are family friends of the Aquinos, and Noynoy met them in the States. Further, Noynoy said the doc’s wife is a dentist and SHE was the one who treated him (I would suppose for Dental, not Mental problems).
Of course those who are capitalizing on this old issue could then say that it’s all part of a conspiracy. They should really drop this issue; it’s only backfiring.
Like I said before, there are a lot of Americans who are still doubtful of Obama’s natural-born citizen status, hence, questioning the legitimacy of his presidency, despite tons of evidence. People will believe what they want to believe.

Noynoy’s camp knew that he is losing in the real survey. A candidate is visibly winning without mudslinging. The only way that Noynoy can win is to condition the minds of the people and leverage its conflicting relationship with the bias media to publish the unreliable survey. That’s real cheating. And people think Noynoy is still honest?
Being unproductive and his inability to pass a single bill in Congress and in the senate while paid by the people’s tax is considered cheating or even stealing on the job and in the eyes of God.

Napunta sa mga Ampatuans di ba? Mas OK naman sana si Erap eh, para talaga sa mahihirap. Ginawan lang sya ng issue sa Jueteng which is useless naman kasi ngayon legal na ang Jueteng. Alam nyo ba na legal na ngayon ang Jueteng? Small Town Lottery na, hawak ng PCSO. Ginamit lang ang issue ng Jueteng dati para patalsikin si Erap at agawin ng mga tunay ng kurakot ang gobyerno. Ibalik natin si Erap!

E hindi naman napatunayan yung mga akusasyon ng kurapsyon kay Erap eh. Naniniwala ka ba na yung Jueteng Money ni Singson talagang idini-deliver kay Erap na nakalagay sa SHOPPING BAG? Sinungaling yun! Bank to bank ‘yan. Nag-imbento lang sila ng kwento para mapatalsik si Erap. Dito sa Cam. Sur, nung mawala si Erap, before ma-legalize ang Jueteng, tuloy pa rin ang Jueteng, through bank ang transaction dala dala ng mga armored vehicles, at dun mismo nakalatag sa mesa ng bangko sa Naga City ang pera, dun mismo binibilang ang pera! Bank to bank po hindi bag to bag!
Ilan lang ito sa tunay na saloobin ng mga Pinoy na kumpleto ang pag-iisip…kumpara sa mga ABNOY na ang gusto sila ang masunod at feeling matali e mga bopol naman.

Sorry for all Eraptians, but time is no longer in the essence of Erap. Lets us look for a new leader who can bring us forward. And that is Noynoy!
All Noynoy has to do if he becomes president, is to restore the institutions (so we can have the checks and balances again), remove the incumbent corrupt public officials, and go after Gloria, Villar, FG, Jocjoc, generals, etc (via Lacson of course), then relinquish after his term ends. — Jug

Let’s be honest. That will be less doable. Power is difficult to relinquish. His mother was an exceptional accidental politician in that sense.

Reminds me of my brother’s “handlers” when he was running for a local position somewhere (he’s a candidate again for some local position under, surprise, surprise, Aquino’s banner) — money, contributions from family and friends from Pinas and abroad poured in.
Ever the trusting man, he let a couple of people handle the money/campaign budget. My brother lost in that election but the couple of people/confidantes who handled the money bit built a sizeable supermarket in the town very soon after the election; we knew that these folks really couldn’t have afford it; my Mum said, the guys made nakaw of my brother’s campaign money.
Anyway, it wasn’t a big deal for my brother, after all, a year later, the supermarket burned down and one of the men/confidantes of my brother left hurriedly for abroad where he died of heart attack soon after. The other fellow had a car accident and became a cripple.
As they say, what goes round comes around.

Really, i don’t believe Igan Ken…bakit ka mo, kasi ganito yon na paulit-ulit na pinag-uusapan…naging congressman at senador si Noynoy e wala kahit isang batas na naipasa?
Ngayon, ano ba ang accomplishment niya sa buhay…till now sa idad niyan ito e single pa siya, walang experience maging isang ama.
Paano yan, 90 milyong Pinoy ang kanyang aalagaan at pamumunuan e mahirap atang mangyari ito. Ano ang maipagmamalaki niya ang legacy ng kanyang mga magulang…ibang usapan ito?
Dapat sa tinagal-tagal niya sa mundo ng magulong pulitika e dapat marami na siyang accomplishment…isang batas man e wala atang naipasa sa konseho.
Ano yan…nagbutas ng upuan sa kongreso at senado!
the presidency is not an inheritance nor real power comes from popularity. let’s move on people. there are a lot of intelligent and capable filipinos out there , willing to serve the country.
If Noynoy becomes President, the private sectors will rule this country. The government becomes weak even if Noynoy removes everybody we don’t like. The government should be strong and must be the regulator, regardless. We cannot elect someone who would become a puppet. do you guys really think that Noynoy is physically and mentally capable to understand how to unite this country? he already made a statement encouraging people to revolt. When you coax people to do something and they get injured on the streets, your words becomes a liability.
If the country wants a good , honest and god fearing , vote for Bro Eddie instead. 🙂
