Villar, Honasan, Trillanes, Lim at a wedding

Philippine Daily Inquirer

A presidential aspirant, two military rebels elected senators and a jailed Army general hoping to follow suit: Could this foreshadow what is to come in 2010?

Known presidential hopeful Senator Manuel Villar, Senators Gregorio Honasan and Antonio Trillanes IV, and jailed Brig. Gen. Danilo Lim were seen in a rare gathering on Saturday, when they attended the wedding of Trillanes’ brother Jay.

And when someone joked they were together to hatch a plot as they posed together for pictures, Trillanes, the youngest of the group, answered with a smile: “May pinaplano para sa mabuti [We’re planning for something good].”

Villar, Honasan and Lim, jailed for short-lived uprisings in 2006 and 2007, stood as principal sponsors when Trillanes’ elder brother, Jay wed Pia Jane Caba at the St. Ignatius Cathedral in Camp Aguinaldo.

When we were taking their pictures, we remarked ‘Three generations of coup plotters.’ Danny Lim jokingly added ‘Three generations of magugulo’

In a rare chance to talk to reporters, Lim said he was “seriously considering” seeking an elective post in May 2010, and that positions higher than Senator were also options.

Lim and Trillanes, both detained at the Philippine National Police Custodial Center in Camp Crame, were given a day pass to attend the wedding but were guarded by police the entire time.

“I’m really seriously considering running for an elective post. Politics could serve as an alternative arena for me to pursue the same struggle for national reform and good governance,” said a barong-clad Lim.

When asked if the vice presidency was also a target, Lim told the Inquirer: “It’s a possibility, it’s an option… depends on the realignment of forces. I said I’m seriously considering running for a national post, meaning it could be for senator or higher.”

He said several opposition groups have initiated talks for his possible inclusion on their May 2010 slates, but the decision on which invitation to accept would depend on his “network of volunteers.”

“The decision is not just mine to make, I have a group so it will be a collective decision. Our timetable is to do it by the middle of October… on which party to join, on whose side we will align,” said Lim in an interview after the hour-long ceremony.

Lim said his volunteers, among them the Samahang Magdalo led by rebel soldiers involved in the 2003 Makati City mutiny, the Young Officers Union and the Rebolusyonaryong Alyansang Makabansa, were planning a national summit in October to help him decide.

Steadfast on reform calls that brought him to jail, Lim said in reference to the upcoming polls: “With a change in administration comes a change in political atmosphere. I am 100 percent sure that I will be out of detention.”

Asked about the general’s plans, Villar said “the more choices for our people, the better.”

“I don’t see anything wrong with his plan…. People know that he has a case so if they will vote for him, it shows that they like him despite that,” Villar added.

He said his party, the Nacionalista Party, was open to including Lim on its slate but the decision to join would be the general’s.

“I am not discounting that possibility but that’s one thing that General Lim has to decide on. But I see that he is a good general. The party’s door is open for him,” said Villar.

Honasan said Lim must back his intentions with a clear platform.

“He has to have a clear program and plan for the nation,” said Honasan, also implicated in the 2003 Trillanes-led mutiny and leader of bloody coup attempts during the administration of President Corazon Aquino.

Will he support a Lim candidacy?

“In his program, if it’s worthy, not in him as a person, because I know him. He was upright when he was in service. I’m sure he can serve the country very well,” said Honasan.

Definitely, I will not recommend them to my friends who are voting.

  2. parasabayan parasabayan

Yuko, I said the same thing the moment I read the news. I can not trust Villar as he bends where the wind goes and Honasan? Hawak pa ni bitch yan! She must have the “goods” on him. Unless of course Honasan is just waiting for the right “move”. A “rebel” is always a rebel. For now, Honasan can not do anything or say anything kasi hawak siya sa “balls” ni pandak! When the tide turns, he may go on his “old” ways.

  3. It was just a social affair. Trillanes and Lim are much smarter than all the speculations.

  4. andres andres

  5. chi chi

Whatever you decide, BGen. Lim, I’ll support you all the way!

  6. chi chi

As of now, I don’t really care what party BGen. Lim would go, as long as he finds an avenue to run…go for it!

Good luck, Magdalo, buhay na buhay pa tayo!

  7. chi chi

My support for BGen. Lim is unconditional and beyond partisanship. Go for it, General!

Only two of the Magulos I support, not the Gringo. Napaso ako sa kanya!

    Ngeeekkkk!!! Nagsalita ang my platform!

  10. patria adorada patria adorada

BGen.Lim as vice president sound good to me.

  11. i’m gonna set aside all these magugulo and ask: what ever happened to our ninong/ninang tradition?

  12. Why was Ping Lacson not there or invited? Lacson was also a PMAer and an opposition. Trillanes could have picked Villar over Lacson for a richer sponsor. Hope not…

  13. taga-ilog taga-ilog

    Chi,
Si Honasan me form pero flat!

  15. huwag na kayong magpadala dyan kay Villar.

    A bit Off-Topic:

Why is kiko pangilinan fuming mad at gloria makapal arrovo, when in fact in 2004, he is one of those legislators who help proclaim the leprechaun? can somebody pls ask him what really transpiredin that canvassing, with his infamous NOTED!

  17. It was the wedding of Jay, Sen. Trillanes’ brother. We don’t know what personal relationship Jay has with Villar.

  18. prans prans

    correction my family’s votes…… sorry

  19. andres andres

It is obviously for political reasons. I just hope Trillanes realizes that he won not because of Villar’s help but of people who are in the true opposition, namely: Binay, Erap, Chiz, and Ping Lacson. Villar did not even go with the sorties of the Genuine Opposition, he had his own entourage.

Villar is an OPPORTUNIST, nothing less!!!

Ellen, I hope you can remind him to remain with the genuinue oppositionists

  20. ofw ofw

Kuya nila yon.

Teka muna. Sumama yata pakiramdam ko a.

  22. I’m told that Jay (Juan Antonio Trillanes),the groom, decided on Senators Villar and Honasan as early as February. It was his wedding and the choice of sponsors was his.

Aside from Senators Villar and Honasan and BGen Danilo Lim, other ninongs were Rep. Luis Asistio, Jerome Tang, Dr. Sonny Caranguian, Napoleon Sales, Dr. Paulino Gureng.

The ninangs were Atty. Aurora Timbol,Jean Monteverde, Melanie Marhendrawan, Imelda Tumibay, Arceli Caba, Marilyn Roxas, Asuncion Gureng, Conchita Mundo.

  23. amanda amanda

hindi ba magagalit si mama jamby diyan?

di ba hate niya si villar?

papa trillianes what happened to your advocacy of corruption? why do you DANCE WITH WOLVES?

Pag may pagkakataon, babanat uli.

Pagtulong ba iyon?

Biglang nasira ang araw ko a.

  25. Tongue, I was told the decision to get Villar as ninong was Jay’s. Sen. Trillanes had nothing to do with it. He just attended the wedding.

  26. kulitz kulitz

magiging mag kumpare na si trillanes and villar. isinama si honasan and now silang lahat endorse si lim. oh well, thats politics. mukhang nawawala na ang advocacy advocacy. and they will be under villar’s party. maski gaanong kalinis ang intention ni lim madudungisan pa rin yan sa pagkampi kay villar. the same goes to trillianes. time to think!

  27. Kulitz, Sen. Trillanes was not one of the sponsors. He was there as family member. He just attended the wedding.

We were the ones who asked them to pose together for souvenir photo.

  28. Kulitz: “mukhang nawawala na ang advocacy advocacy. and they will be under villar’s party.”

From what I know, Lim is not considering running under Villar’s party.

  29. PSB:

You bet.

  30. kulitz kulitz

    Ellen,

But isn’t it true that Trillianes already said that he will no longer vote with the majority (Lacson, Roxas, Madrigal etc) and will thus vote together with Pimentel (and of course Villar) in the Senate.

  31. kulitz kulitz

    Ellen,

About Gen. Lim, i thought he was being drafted by ERAP for the Opposition. On other matters, even UNO spokesman Adel Tamano transferred to Villar’s NP and will be spokesman for the party. right?

  32. junsy1951 junsy1951

BGen Lim is a good material in the Senate. My family will definitely stand by him in this election. I hope he and Ariel Q will only have one party.

  33. akomismo akomismo

sana nga one party lang si Lim at Querubin. o dapat mag vice na lang si lim ni Villar. kasi pag hiwalay sila, hati ang suporta nilang dalawa sa Presidentiable nila. kung kunin nung isang presidentiable yung isa, magkakandarapang kunin nung ibang presidentiables yung isa para ma-offset yung endorsement. how ugly politics could be! kaya himagsikan parin ako!

  34. Kulitz: “About Gen. Lim, i thought he was being drafted by ERAP for the Opposition.”

Just because someone drafted you means that you agreed to be with him/her. It just means that that person wants you to be on his side. Whether you agree or not is another matter.

In the interview,Lim said, ” I have received invitations from the different opposition groups to join them and I am grateful that I am being considered as a positive addition to their respective parties.”

  35. Kulitz,I understand Sen. Lacson visited Trillanes in detention and explained to him why they moved against Villar etc. etc.

I understand he is with the majority now although of course he could not vote.

  36. Akomismo, I seriously doubt if Lim would want to be vice president of Villar.

  37. kulitz kulitz

    Ellen,

So it’s not only ERAP’s party who is interested to have Lim. We’ll just have to wait which side he takes. He may be another surprise just like Trillianes in the senatorial race.

  38. presing presing

is it true that erap would eventually threw his support to villar? and the zamora brothers are also behind him?

  39. Liwayway-Gawgaw Liwayway-Gawgaw

    Sa mga nagdududa:

Huwag ninyong hinuhusgahan si Gen Lim, this early.

Kahit walang political parties na magdala sa kanya, ano ang ginagawa ng sampung organisasyong sumusuporta sa kanya with members not only all over the archipelago but also in almost eveycorner of the world, particularly the GUARDIANS?

  40. patria adorada patria adorada

    I honestly don’t trust villar.

  41. mukat mukat

Lim.

  43. patria adorada patria adorada

BGen,Lim vision for our country is much better than anyone else.I hope he becomes our national leader in the near future to come.

  44. Danilo Danilo

I would ditch them all. I prefer Capt. Guinolbay for president and Faeldon for VP.

Capt. Ruben Guinolbay = Lamitan siege.

“pera pera lang pala ang laban” (I share his frustration)

Gen Danny Lim = Manila Pen siege.

“Other units are joining — just wait”

With the greates respect, Gen. Lim’s combat records are still probably classified today, he is as you know special forces. And so I thank him for his gallantry and military service. But I will not support or vote for him. I have no confidence in him. I wish the good general all the best. Hey, its a free country thanks to him in part.

Capt. Ruben Guinolbay has an impeccable service reputation. Young, clever, patriotic, calm, competent, natural leader, and no need for a silly blood compact with him. Also a member of the special forces. For once I would like a native of this land elected as president or as senator at least. In Lamitan, his situation was bad and made worst by a poltroon. Nightfall fast approaching, no night optics, running low on ammunition, and sustaining casualties, but he and the rangers under his command did what they could, with what they had. They Fought those they did not hate, defended those they did not even know. The outcome of that battle would have been better if Dominguez did not intervene in tactical decisions like breaking off with an enemy in close contact, we all know why he wanted it, he will deny it. An officer died, three other enlisted personnel paid the ultimate sacrifice and a wealthy hostage ran to freedom. Its that kind of culture shock that is not even discussed at Tactics and Doctrines department. Dominguez is a disgrace. There should be a field manual to deal with his kind.

Faeldon

He was not a contestant at Pinoy Big Brother. He was a magdalo officer the “kuya” he was referring to is a poltroon with a trademark of failed coups and luxury hotels in the metropolis. I guess the citizens like pain so he is senator then fugitive, and again today senator. With the dexterity of a paratrooper Gringo jumped from the roof of his suddenly unsafe house while Police Sr. Supt. Nelson Yabut PNP has a naughty smile. “Puti ba, puti buhok? Siya yun!” lol Airboooorne! Oops PLF ka taba! Ayan napilay tuloy. Nah, Honasan and Col. Yabut have no ill feeling towards each other, the cop was doing his job, the fugitive was the cop’s job. Capt. Faeldon is audacious, fearless, obviously smart cunning and unpredictable. Best of all, he infuriates Espiron. Dignity intact even when recaptured but tenacious as he is, he escapes again, still free as of this writing. Makes a good side-kick to Capt. Guinolbay. They rock!

Col. Ariel Querubin = The Final Assault of Camp Abu Bakkar.

I rise and sleep under the blanket of security that sir Ariel and his marines provide. Camp abu bakkar is very expensive real estate. While leading the attack from up front not from the rear with the gear, sir Ariel nearly bought and paid for that piece of the republic, his XO near him did. This is not a movie scene where the man next to the hero falls dead. Blasted by mortar some say, I really do not know, sir Ariel is obviously a humble man, he would shield everyone from the horrors he and his men endured by avoiding the subject, its solemn and private for warriors who were there only, not even they would want to talk about it amongst themselves, they just put it behind them and move on. Many other good marines died that day. When the dust settled, the soldiers this time along with then BGen. Angelo Reyes raised the flag, because where they stood, belongs to the people of the republic not to any one else.

Roxas for Pres. and Lim for VP. Kung hindi sasali si Gen. Lim sa isang partido puede ba siyang mag-independent as Vice Pres?. Cheers for Gen. Lim..veep==veep hooray..
…Ellen: puede ba akong mag pa register sa Sibalom, Antique and then vote here in NYC? Or do I have to register here? see you in August..

  46. chi chi

Welcome back, Cocoy. Glad you now can attend our classes here.

As to Villar attending the wedding of Trillanes’ brother…hindi naman si Sonny ang ikinasal a. It does not mean that the presence of Villar there e ‘pinakasalan’ na siya ni AT4.

I trust BGen. Lim’s decision as I trust Senator Sonny’s. I vote for the man, not the political party.

Never my vote goes to Villar, but I respect Jay T’s choice of his ninong sa kasal.

I trust her judgment on people we support here.

Kasi yung barong ni Villar ay nakulayan ng putik ng C5, while those of Senator Sonny and BGen. Lim ay wala pang stain.

    Danilo,

If Capts. Ruben Guinolbay and Faeldon would run for the Senate, I’d support and campaign for them, too. But you have yet to convince them, and let them decide.

The military’s lost if you don’t vote for BGen. Lim and Col. Ariel Querubin, just because you wanted someone not on the run. But I get you…something beyond me eh?

  50. chi chi

Val, it is in the interest of Pinas to see what Gloria is hiding in the freezer, baka mga ginto at silver sila.

  51. Liwayway-Gawgaw Liwayway-Gawgaw

    Danilo,

    Lamitan siege lang pala, eh.

Then 2nd Lt Danny LIM led the Forward Reconnaissance Unit, 1ID sometime in 1980’s to capture the strongest MNLF camp located at Bud Daho without a casualty on the government side. Through careful planning, Lt LIM, a young West Point graduate, a Scout Ranger and a Special Forces trained officer led the assault on the rebels’ lair through the 180 degrees western side of the mountain where the enemy believed no government troops would use as an avenue of approach.

Composed mostly of Igorots (Torogis as we called them) who were veterans of countless encounters gathered from different combat units of the First Infantry (TABAK) Division, Philippine Army, the government forces successfully captured the rebel camp with no resistance from the enemy who were caught unaware and unguarded.

    How do I knew it?

I was not part of the unit but I was with the monitoring command of the Division Headquarters during the time.

  52. chi chi

Lim. I believe you were under his command once, kaya all ears and eyes ako sa mga kwento mo tungkol sa magiting na General.

Thanks for that info na nasa ‘freezer’ lang dati.

  53. Gen. Lim was among the first to be on Erap’s list. Of course he could always say no. But chances are he prefers to be on Erap’s list which is a true opposition minus Enrile. Santiago was already removed from the list. Enrile and Erap’s relationship is more personal. I think Enrile’s being on the list would do good than harm. For one thing, he’s the current Senate President and lately has been behaving like an opposition.

  54. chi chi

correction)…’military’s loss’.

  55. Who can trust this Manny Villar? Of all the presidentiables from the opposition, he was the only one who attended the recent birthday party of self-confessed crook Chavit Singson in Ilocos Sur. Villar is going around making friends including the devils.

  56. day day

bgen lim…para sa akin…bagay ka muna mag senator..pero if you run for vice president…lulutuin ka lang ni villar…gawin ka lang nyang…pabango…kaya careful careful…

  57. andres andres

  58. The only reason Adel Tamano gave was his father used to be with Nacionalista Party. What kind of a reason is that? Why doesn’t he admit that Villar has more money? Despite his transfer, we don’t hear any negative reaction from Erap and UNO. With the 2010 election approaching, don’t be surprised with the movement of these personalities. Lito Lapid wants to regain his governorship in Pampanga but has a problem with the Mother and son Bitch in Malacanang. He may decide to run for re-election as Senator. But this time, he can’t be sure of being re-elected. Let’s see if people would elect such a guy with the poorest performance in the Senate.

  59. ex-Sen. Tamano was a Nacionalista. Those times, politicians were proud of their parties. It was FVR who destroyed the relevance of parties when he created Lakas after losing to Mitra in the LDP convention. In earlier years, NP was abandoned by Doy Laurel after his coalition with Cory sprung Unido. NP became dormant until Enrile picked it up, and named himself president.

    Then Villar bought it.

  60. Then, only two parties were in the fight. Nacionalista had an edge over Liberal mainly because of Marcos who actually switched from Liberal.

  61. Too bad for Lacson. He’s not a traditional politician. Too idealistic and principled who cannot compromise. In politics, you should learn how to compromise…give and take.

  62. sampip sampip

I would definitely support Gen. Lim and Querubin. No ifs and buts with that.

I would also support Faeldon and Guinolby if they did decide to run. There’s no use to compare these 4 gentlemen/patriots on who’s who. They all have the same platforms for the betterment of the Philippines regardless of what impressive/unimpressive missions they accomplished as a mission commander. They all sacrificed themselves and their families to fight to correct what’s wrong…

So, if someone here don’t want to support Lim and Querubin, I guess you would rather support a corrupt trapo candidate?

I really don’t trust Honasan and Villar. They’re still part of the dark side as far as I know. Honasan was the big downer for me. I was once in great admiration of him and now he’s either a complete wuzz or an admin trojan horse. If they want to gain the filipinos trust, they’re gonna have to do more than just a photo op with Lim. 🙂

  64. “I would definitely support Gen. Lim and Querubin. No ifs and buts with that.”

I would too but they had better be true to their word if and when they win… fight and fight bravely in the political arena.

  65. mag-aasin mag-aasin

Bwahahaha!!!

  68. Lekat, mukhang tototohanin ni Erap ang pagtakbo.

“Erap buys two 350 KingAir Turboprop helicopters and twenty vans for use in the campaign trail”

  69. It could also be a bluff. Those might be for the use of his party. If the Evil Bitch is mum on her plans, Erap has the same right.

  70. Gabriela Gabriela

Erap once again demonstrates his stupidity.

  71. boyner boyner

It is a common practice that the groom and the bride will choose their principal and secondary sponsors and I don’t think anybody in this group has any personal knowledge about the selection. Anyway, Villar has the money, Honasan has the Guardians, Lim has the Scout Rangers, Querubin has the Marines and Trillanes has the Magdalo. Draw your own conclusion. Just to get rid of the devil incarnate aka evil bitch and sociopath, any alliances will be for the good of the country.

  72. Gabriela Gabriela

I understand that Lim and Trillanes could not cut ties with Honasan. Mahaba at marami ang pinagsamahan. But I hope they differ in the paths to take as government servants.

My support for Lim still depends on a lot of things I want to see from him.

  73. Bobong Bobong

Will he support a Lim candidacy?

“In his program, if it’s worthy, not in him as a person, because I know him. He was upright when he was in service. I’m sure he can serve the country very well,” said Honasan.

    Rose:

Hindi ka puedeng magparehistro sa probinsiya ninyo if you are voting as an absentee voter. Baka labas mo flying voter.

I suggest you register at the consulate in New York. Hanggang August na lang ang registration according to the DFA in charge of OAV. Truth is we are encouraging Filipinos in Japan to exercise their right to vote and register. Sad but true!

  76. susy susy

On the other hand, Rose, you can get registered in your home province lalo na kung may political connection ka doon. But you can’t vote as an absentee voter kung di ka magpaparehistro sa consulate na malapit sa place of residence mo.

  78. Susy is right, Rose. You need to register as an absentee voter at the Philippine Consulate in New York if you don’t have one in New Jersey. If they do not succeed in removing the Senate with the Con-ASS, you may vote for the President, VP, Senators and Partylist member of Congress.

It is why I guess the daughter of the piggies is now being groomed to run for the Philippine Congress regardless of whether or not they succeed in pushing through the Con-ASS plan.

Just imagine, if the Midget runs as a Congresswoman, the Philippine Congress will be full of the Arroyos and Macapagals, their lapdogs, cronies, et al.

    Mataas na kolesterol mo.

    Baka sumpungin ka ng hika.

    Patingin ka na sa mekaniko.

    Tikboy,

Nakasama mo na ba si BGen LIM? Si Col Querubin? Si Sen Trillanes?

They are not traditional politicians, kung ‘yang ang iniisip mo.

  81. Liwayway-Gawgaw Liwayway-Gawgaw

    chi,

I don’t think am an authority on BGen LIM’s accomplishments kahit naging magkasama kami dati sa First Infantry Division.

Nagkahiwalay din kami at hindi ko na nasubaybayan ang kanyang mga accomplishments noong ma-reassigned ako sa Pata Island right after that unforgettable Pata Massacre where the entire Coy Hqs, 31IB under the late LtCol Jacinto Sardual were almost wiped out with only two draftees who survived.

Tuluyan na akong nawalan ng balita sa kanya noong ma-transfer ang battalion namin sa Lanao del Sur right after the 1986 Edsa 1.

But I know the Danny LIM I knew before is the same Danny LIM we all know these days.

  82. Liwayway-Gawgaw Liwayway-Gawgaw

Danny LIM, subok na MATIBAY, subok na MATATAG!

  83. Danilo Danilo

    Liwayway-Gawgaw

Thank you, for your military service. Thank you again for sharing your experiences. I never dug up anybody’s record at OTAG nor would I be inclined to dig up someone’s records at OESPA. Gen Lim’s accomplishments are not in question, for that matter, no ones record is. I said I thank the General for his service, some of which as you highlighted were brilliantly planned and executed. I will not go into how the ASG had better cover and concealment, observation and fire, while Ruben’s rangers tried to deploy under fire, engage, and deny the enemy movement at least. Different battles, different situations, different outcome. Otherwise, magpasiklaban na lang ng kwentong giyera. I’m not going into that. Far be it for me to disrespect the General, but I have the right to choose who I would support and vote. You are likewise free to disagree.

My admiration for Guinolbay and Faeldon is that I can connect with their frustration, that said, if they did run for office (which is not even in their wildest imagination, humble as they are obviously) they would seek solutions to a common problem for many. To address issues like corruption, the practice of substituting funds, pilferage, sub-standard equipment, shear incompetence by some officers. Not only will they have to address issues within the military, but society as a whole. Now for a company grade officer, that is beyond them. I just have a hunch that I can trust them.

Not to rub anything on anyone’s face, Guinolbay was never in makati dressed in his fatigues looking for trouble, come to think of it, he probably hates Makati because there is no chance of catching Malaria or hostiles. Prefers dilapidated MOQ’s than luxury hotels.

I also admire Gen. Danilo Lim, not only do we have the same first name, and that I pale in comparison to the man, he is brilliant, gallant, and a patriot, wants to be the best so he joined the rangers and nothing less. He has devoted most of his lifetime serving in the military. Enough said

    “We’re singing, and fighting, we’re laughing and … “

LG, do you know na papalarin si Gen. Lim sa 2010 if he will join with UNO Erap camp or else talo siya.

  85. Liwayway-Gawgaw Liwayway-Gawgaw

    Padir,

It is not any of us here who could decide for him where to run with.

If you say so, so bit it.

But this is definite. We will utilize all our best efforts to campaign for the general to all voters here abroad. We’re just waiting for his final say/decision and choosing.

And like chi, I don’t care with whom BGen LIM associates himself in the opposition for surely he will not let himself be identified with anyone dancing with the evil.

I and my family, friends and acquaintances are solidly voting for DANNY LIM!

    Para sa bansa.

  86. Liwayway-Gawgaw Liwayway-Gawgaw

    Danilo,

It’s your opinion and it is highly respected and well taken!

    Cheers!

Villar is a very dangerous man. Once he becomes President, it might be worse.

  90. Jo Santiago Jo Santiago

Sen. Villar is not the one you can trust to become the nation’s president. Public service is only a far second to Manny’s agenda. His heart belongs to his real estate business. Imagine if ‘President Villar’ re-routes the country’s roads to all of his properties? And if he’s mad (coz of low sales), he might include railways, MRT/LRT and even runways!

Sens. Ping & Jamby would have tons of jobs to do.

  91. Taga-Bulakan Taga-Bulakan

We hate the generals of the likes of Angelo Reyes, Hermogenes Esperon, Roy Kyamko, etc. marami sila. They are Gloria’s spent bullets.

Gen. Lim is one among the few who cannot be cowed by Malacanang controlled military court. Just like Sen. Sonny, Gen. Lim will go to the Senate a respected senator of the land next year.

  92. GALORE GALORE

  93. Early last year, Sales and Marketing Personnel of Villar’s Real Estate Conglomerate had a convention wherein Villar himself unveiled plans of massive infastructure projects some of which are near or within his properties, and that should be a good selling point.

This information was relayed to me by one of the attendees. And as i understand it, said properties are mostly situated in Southern Luzon.

And then C5 Double Insertion burst.

  94. If we really care about this country, we should prod Lacson to at least file his candidacy. We should do the campaigning afterwards.

That is If We Really Care.

  95. parasabayan parasabayan

Sump Pit, sad indeed that the choices we have for the presidency are pretty much the same than we noinsertions here and there. It will not just be “Tongpats”. With the tongpats, only a portion of the project amount is pocketed. In the C5, the whole road project benefitting Villar’s real estate holdings were put on our bill! That was not even enough! The properties along the built road were sold at a premium to the government. Elect this president and he will probably own all the untitled lands in the country and have the government build roads to enhance the values of his real estate properties.

    Gising Pilipinas!

  96. Rose Rose

Suzy, Grizzy: Thanks, for the info..I missed the registration here in Jersey City, ..and will be in the Phil. in August, thus I thought of doing it there..I jsut hope that things will be ok after July 27..things are so uncertain and volatile baka pumutok ang vulcan sabi nga..sa Antique kasi hindi magulo ang politics..walang mga rally,,

  97. Rose Rose

I am a bit worried about the political situation…the martial law..My nephew also plans to go to the Phil. July 15-24 with his friends..and while I am a bit apprehensive of the situation..I don’t want him to miss being with his friends and have fun..15 of them will be going home to attend a wedding and they have been friends since grade school..gusto ko sanang sumama siya sa akin but I don’t want to spoil the fun..kaya extra dasal ako..it is impossible to expect Gloria to step down..and indeed the future of the country is bleak..malungkot.
