Antique is very Aglipayan…ang pagkakaalam ko kaibigan ng mga ilang prominent Antique’s national leaders (particularly sa Sibalom, San Remigio, at sa Norte) si Gregorio Aglipay thus when he founded the Independent church marami ang nagpalit rin..

  3. Rose, when you come home, please make it a point to stay overnight in our place so we can go to the beach.

Ellen, many friends in my Facebook appreciated the above photos when published yesterday. Again, thank you.

    Talaga? I’ll check. Thanks.

    Ma’am Ellen nakakainggit hehehe

  7. Enjoy! Back to nature time.Recharge your battery for the coming long months of political noises.

  8. You are right, EQ.

Wonderful, happy images. A Glorious Easter to you, Ms. Ellen Tordesillas.

You bet I will..the pictures particularly ang mga kahon ( pilapils) brought back memories when I fell flat on my face into the mud…but did not catch a fish…and I must have looked like a pantat (catfish) but you guys must have a hard time to keep a straight face so as not to laugh at me…

  11. hmmnnnn, i miss home and the carabao of my lola. 🙂

Heard some carabaos are imported from parts of Eastern Europe.

I only love carabaos and cows for their “very cool attitudes”. You yell at them and they just stand there looking at you, so calm just minding their own chewing-the-grass business. Wish more people are like them, instead of the jumpy, hyperish attitudes.

    Happy Easter to all.

  13. Rose, I learned to swim at Lozada Swimming school together with my nephew and niece. We are all asthmatics so swimming was a recommended excercise for us. Enjoy naman.

yong no.3 photo ang pinaka gusto ko.Ganyan kasi ang pinapangarap ko…huhuhuhuh.Nakaka homesick tuloy.

  15. There’s no place like home.

Happy Easter to all.Magsisimba muna kami.

  16. Bakit kulot ang sungay ng kalabaw doon sa inyo Ellen.

  17. Nothing beats the serene view and the humble atmosphere sa province. Napaka-simple ng buhay sa probinsya.

    Happy Easter.

  18. hahaha! i love your picture tita ellen! reminds me of my very own Barrio Siete, the 7,107th island na pag low tide we hunt for food, pag high tide we evacuate hahaha

feel na feel ko ang scenery esp the sight of the kalabaw, kaya lang na-trauma ata ako because remember ko ang buhay nang reyna na nag-aararo pa nung panahon (nakapayong). *hikbi*

    salamat sa mga litrato

Inggit na inggit din ako! Na-homesick ako ng di-oras!

    Naawa ako sa kalabaw…!

Cocoy: Doon sa kila Ellen walang bayad ang pumunta sa Baybay (beach) as a matter of fact in the entire province of Antique..malinis, no pollution, at malinaw ang tubig (crystal clear)..pero may napansin ako..mayroon na kayong plastic made floater gear..noong araw..what we did was to tie two coconuts to use..o kaya guma ng jeep..
Ellen: did you learn how to swim sa sunrise beach? the next time I go home (sa August seguro) punta tayo uli sa Nogas Island…I hope we will find the place free of empty cans or charcoals used by the campers sa island…punta tayo uli sa pagalingan ng kalamay and eat banana pinasugbo and butong butong as much as we can…sa August ba may lomboy (cherries)?..that is what I have not eaten since I left..

  21. Boracay Beach is getting dirtier and dangerous with so many troubles happening regularly. There’s one island in Palawan with white sand and they’re thinking of converting it to Boracay Beach 2.

  22. Try Caramoan in Camarines Sur. It’s still clean and uncluttered.
