Headed for a social explosion

See statement of Rep. Teofisto Guingona, Jr. on his vote in the fourth impeachment against Gloria Arroyo in comments.

Malaya editorial:

Palace guards have sewn up tight all access to Malacañang. Nothing new. For all we care, they could build a wall around the Palace if they want to. It would be a physical monument to how isolated Gloria Arroyo has become from the people.

What made us laugh was the statement of Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita that tighter security is part of standard operating procedures every time the President is out the country. Ermita’s statement simply isn’t true. On the contrary, Palace guards used to take a mini-vacation of their own when their boss was away. They even used to open Jose P. Laurel, the street that fronts the Palace, to motorists wanting to take a shortcut between Ayala and Nagtahan bridges.

Are they perhaps afraid that protesters would take a page from the playbook of Thai activists and occupy Malacañang while Arroyo is in Hong Kong to prick the world’s conscience about the lot of the downtrodden and the poor (that’s according to the press release of Malacañang) at the Clinton Global Initiative?

If the poor only could, they surely would wrest back Malacañang from its illegitimate tenant. Gloria’s mis-governance and corruption have probably condemned more Filipinos to poverty than all the previous administrations combined. If there is justice in this world, Gloria and Mike would long have been roaming the world in search of a refuge.

But no, Gloria and Mike remain secure in the knowledge that they can continue to brazen it out. Most of the elected officials have long been bought and are expected to stay bought. The Armed Forces, while not as blindly obedient as it was under the predecessors of Gen. Alexander Yano, is burdened by the inertia of misplaced constitutionalism. Other institutions of democracy have been neutralized if not castrated.

Meanwhile, the opposition – from the political parties, the Church, civil society and to business – cannot get its act together, torn between pressing for Gloria’s ouster and waiting for 2010 to send her packing and to kick out the rest of the bastards.

Gloria is, in fact, in a roll for the moment. Her allies have just butchered and buried the fourth impeachment complaint against her.

A collision could still be headed off by holding elections in 2010. The way Gloria is tempting fate by seeking to extend her stay, we fear we are in for a social explosion

Like the tail of a lizard which detaches from its body when pursued by it´s perceived enemy, the cha cha could be the tail of GMA puppet government for us Filipinos to focus our energies and attention to pursuing only later to realize too late that she really is stepping down and has prepared a formidable physical and legal rear guard and has covered her criminal tracts.

Maybe we should focus on her criminal tracts of looting and collaborating with the foreign invaders as well as weakening her physical and legal rear guards by securing tightly all pertinent evidences and removing her capability to collaborate further as well as strengthen her rear guards.

The Evil Bitch will continue to be well protected by the military goons. It’s my position and hope that an insider terminates her. That’s the only hope. But, this insider should be ready to risk his life for the country. Do we have to import a Pakistani or Arab suicide bomber?

  6. bitchevil bitchevil

That’s correct. Why was this Chavit Singson appointed as Deputy National Security Adviser when in fact he’s not performing his duty as one? He’s always with Manny Pacquiao even during his training. I’m sure Singson gets paid and receives all the perks for that position.

  7. bitchevil bitchevil

If Pacquiao fights twice in a year and trains three months in each fight; and Singson is with him all throughout, then Singson is not performing his responsibilities as Governor and National Security Adviser for at least six months or half of the year. Yet, people not even media take note of this. It’s only here that this matter is being brought up. Actually, Singson is a notorious gambler. It’s because of his gambling that affected his relationship with Erap and then finally helped oust the latter. The media is also not talking about Big Mike who’s proceeding to the US from Hong Kong. If the Evil Bitch arrives and we don’t see Mike, then that’s it. We saw on TV that Mike was with her when they left for Hong Kong. Is this someone who’s sick with heart problem?

It may not be a laughing matter for those left to mind the store to be overrun while taking cover under or hiding the tables again.

In my opinion, Gloria is using the “divide and rule” tactic. The opposition is divided because of vested interests. The efficacy of the rallies depends whether the military will be involved in it by “withdrawal of support” and besides, the military if ever, will not withdraw their support spontaneously, this must be a carefully, tactically and secretly crafted planned but the secrecy aspect of the plan is suspect due to the vested interest of political groups.

From bitchevil: Do we have to import a Pakistani or Arab suicide bomber?

If the poor only could….oh yes they are the missing ingredients. How long will they hibernate? Hopefully this express train cha cha issue will fire them up and explode, let themselves be counted, join the fight and carry the fight every inch of the way whenever and wherever it may be.
No fear, no surrender kick out Gloria and her gangs for love of country and the future. Don’t let them off-the hook. Hold them accountable for every sin they committed against the country and the people to show example to those aspiring future leaders to be more responsible and that crime does not pay.

  13. bitchevil bitchevil

Golberg, remember PM Bhutto’s assassination? It only takes one person to accomplish the mission. But you’re right…out of 85M Filipinos, there’s not a single one who is as daring.

They have no power, no money…no guns…no NOTHING! All they have is FEAR for their lives! And that could be abolish by a single move from them.

  16. Statement of Congressman Teofisto “TG” Guingona III, 2nd district, Province of Bukidnon, on the day of the plenary voting of the House of Representatives on the fourth Impeachment Complaint against Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Tuesday, December 2, 2008.

Today, for the fourth time, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and her allies refuse to answer the basic charges of lying, stealing, cheating and the slaughter of her own countrymen. In her maneuvering to escape accountability, in blocking the light of truth, in her refusal to bring about closure to the basic issue of legitimacy, the damage to the institutions of Philippine society has been almost irreparable. The Office of the President, Congress, the Armed Forces, the Ombudsman, the COMELEC, the Department of Justice, and the Civil Service are among the casualties brought about by Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s shameless sense of impunity. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, you have destroyed the credibility, integrity, and most deplorably, you have destroyed the faith of the Filipino people in these public institutions….

Pinas is a nation divided by ambition, greed and big egos, so the few like us have to go on shouting and make the best of what we can do under the controlled circumstances to expose the liar and the thief.

More container vans and higher walls to secure Gloria won’t make any difference because the bitch has already been isolated from the pinoys a long time ago. She’s just buying her time by keeping her amuyongs happy with bribes. Napakalungkot at nakakatakot na buhay, the bitch is every second on the look out.

    Hello Ellen,

How can I open the speech of Congressman Teofisto “TG” Guingona III?

    Thanks a lot.

  19. Hi Syria, sorry, I didn’t know that it can’t be opened. Wait I’ll just post it here.

Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, you have destroyed the credibility, integrity, and most deplorably, you have destroyed the faith of the Filipino people in these public institutions.

You have destroyed the people’s faith in the Armed Forces. You have manipulated the military for your cheating in the 2004 election. This was shown by the testimony of General Gudani when he was relieved of his command during the counting of the votes in Lanao del Sur to give them a free hand in manipulating the election results. AFP was then on full red alert but he was ordered to return to Manila and play golf for one week.

You have destroyed the people’s faith in the Ombudsman as an anti-corruption institution, by appointing Merceditas Gutierrez, a classmate and friend of Mike Arroyo, whose sole purpose is to protect you and your criminal allies from going to jail. This can be seen by the dismissal of the case against COMELEC Chairman Abalos for the purchase of the Megapacific computerized counting machines, even after the Supreme Court has declared the transaction illegal and even when the Ombudsman’s field investigator, Maria Elena Roxas, recommended prosecution. The Ombudsman sat on the case for two and a half years, and then dismissed it. Another example is the bribery case of Nani Perez, which has been dismissed due to the Ombudsman’s inaction. A case which was delayed for seven years. Even now, whilst Jocjoc Bolante testifies in the Senate, you have not even filed charges against him. This should have been done two years ago when the Senate Committee on Agriculture came out with its report.

You have destroyed the integrity of the Department of Justice, whose main pre-occupation is persecuting and prosecuting those who speak their mind against your administration.

You have destroyed the independence of the House of Representatives and have manipulated congressmen through the use of cash gifts, through the withholding of their CDF’s until they come to you in Malacañang to beg and kneel before you. Congress has become nothing more than an annex of Malacanang.

You have destroyed the faith of the people in the COMELEC and the election process by appointing operators like Virgilio Garcillano of the “Hello Garci Tapes”.

You have destroyed the Civil Service Commission. The former Chairman, Ms. Karina David, has already stated that nearly 60% of the 4,000 government positions, from directors to undersecretaries, are not qualified. You have appointed them on the sole basis of their blind loyalty to you.

You have neglected our agriculture, and as a consequence, we are a people unable to feed ourselves. Instead, we are becoming the world’s largest rice importer. To make matters worse, you have appointed your friends who steal whatever limited agricultural funding for your re-election, just like what Jocjoc Bolante did.

Our people have become poorer under your administration. From the years of 2003 to 2006, when you were bragging about your GDP statistics, the National Statistics Office, a government agency, reported that the poor have increased from 4 million to 4.7 million families.

You have destroyed the faith of the Filipino in the Office of the President. Your leadership and mis-governance has made the Philippines the most corrupt country in East Asia. You refuse to confront the basic issue of legitimacy. Therefore, you have no right to the Office of the President. You are a usurper that should leave immediately!!!

Now, as in 2006, you and your allies are poised to desecrate the Constitution of our Republic, by amending the Charter, thereby making you a President for life.

All these, just to escape accountability and perpetuate yourself in power.

Today, the hollow victory might be Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s but we all know that the damage is on the faith of the Filipino people in the political and governmental institutions.

So what!? Gloria Macapagal Arroyo does not care — as long as she remains in power, by whatever means — even through the barrel of the gun.

What has been shattered is hope —- hope of the Filipino to live a meaningful and peaceful life in this country. Hope for the youth of this land who are constantly searching for a brighter tomorrow.

Ang sagot nila: ”Thank you, but no thank you. ——- This is the kind of cynicism, pessimism, and hopelessness that Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s blatant and shameless manipulations have produced.

These past few days I have been asked: “IS THERE STILL HOPE IN THIS COUNTRY?” My answer is: Yes, there is still hope in this country!!! Our voting for the Impeachment of GMA is a signal of defiance. We will continue to fight. We will never give up the struggle to make public officers accountable to the people. We will continue until we have achieved a democratic political rebirth of our nation. In this sense, the impeachment is not the end but only the beginning.

My vote tells the whole nation that there are those who will not, no matter what the odds are — will not stop until accountability of public officers is achieved, until faith in all political institutions is restored, and genuine democracy is realized.

Remember, Saddam Hussien, Hitler, Idi Amin et. al. nagsipagbayad sila.

Nasa atin ang huling halakhak! Tuloy ang laban, walang aatras till we meet our main objective to funish the evil bitch and her minions.

I was barely out of college in the last days of Marcos. I see the same omen for the evil bitch as that of the late Macoy. I can feel the end coming. She chose the path that Marcos took and more. She has bribed more people and corrupted more institutions. There are more political killings in her watch. Our literacy level is at its lowest level and poverty has afflicted our people more than ever. Her time is up and it can not be stopped. The time bomb is ticking!

Chi, Gloria’s un-merry days are coming! Let’s pray this will be our “Merry Christmas” to one another!

Oakwood and Manila Pen were borne out of disperation, wala silang suporta na nakuha sa Masang Pilipino.

If we will analyze right now, kung sino ang nagsusulong upang pabagsakin si Gloria and her minions e sila yong umaglahi sa Masang Pinoy.

Subalit NEVER tayong mag give-up, magkagayon man ang sitwasyon we are ALL Pinoys at dapat NATION FIRST before personal vested interest.

  27. chi chi

    Balweg,

Oo nga naman, ako rin ang nasa lugar nila ay sasabihin ko na “you are the ones who made this mess, you fix it!”

Anti-Cha Cha people dare Mike Velarde to call his millions of followers to the streets to protest against Arroyo. Invitation has been extended to Velarde to join the protest on Dec. 12. I bet you Velarde will not join. He’s all talk. How many times did he threatened in the past and never did? Velarde doesn’t want to lose all the privileges his business benefit from this government.

  29. bitchevil bitchevil

Former agriculture secretary Jocely “Joc-Joc” Bolante was arrested Wednesday night by the members of the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms for “not telling the truth” on the so-called fertilizer fund scam.

The warrant of arrest was served on Bolante at his lawyers’ office in Vernida 1 Condominium in Makati City around past 8 p.m. by a team headed by retired colonel Jaime Dimacali, a member of the Senate Sergeant-in-Arms.

But Bolante was allowed to visit his sick wife first at their residence in the posh Ayala Alabang Village in the suburban Muntinlupa City, said his lawyer Antonio Zulueta.

….This might be another trick. Watch out if Bolante’s wife is really sick. Once he gets into his house, he might refuse to get out. When he requested the Senate to pull out the Senate security guarding him saying he didn’t need them anymore, he didn’t disclose to the Senate that he has other security detail of six provided by the government. Once we allow government security to be around a criminal like that of Neri, we will never arrest him anymore.

  30. bitchevil bitchevil

Bad news for anti-Cha Cha Filipinos in general and anti-Cha Cha Catholics in particular. The Catholic Church (CBCP) does not want to lead her flock to protest against Cha-Cha on December 12. Well, these Bishops could have already received their white envelopes again. This time, these were not distributed in Malacanang, but delivered to their respective offices or residences. Anyway, as long as we have Cruz, Tobias and Yniguez around, that’s okay.

  31. chi chi

At the Global Initiative of Bill Clinton in Hongkong…Billy was all praises for his classmate Gloria d’Puta telling her as “looking 30 years younger.” When sepsep Dureza heard this, he said, “I told you, kaya pa niya ng two more terms.”

I’ll say this again…Gloria can easily penetrate the White House via flirting with the Billy. Gloria contributes millions of pesos of pinoys money to Bill’s Global initiative, that’s for sure!

  36. bitchevil bitchevil

They not only did not ask Erap’s forgiveness, some like Leah Navarro even protested Erap’s pardon. They forget that majority of Erap’s supporters are also FPJ’s supporters. They compose the masses.

Manny Pacquiao was seen on TV in Las Vegas with Lito Atienza and Chavit Singson as if acting as his bodyguards. Oscar Dela Hoya looks a lot more handsome than goon-looking Pacquiao who looks like a goon even with his nice suit. As a Filipino, I want Manny to win. But as an Evil Bitch hater, I want him to lose.

  38. parasabayan parasabayan

Saludo ako kay Rep Guingona at sa lahat ng pro-impeachment which unfortunately only numbered to 21 (am I right Ellen?). This is the kind of support the Cha-cha may also have. These representathieves were financed and positioned by the bitch iduring the 8 or so years and kept happy by giving them bribes disguised as “pork”.

The tabako (how I hate this man for his role is keeping himself from accountability and annointing just anyone to keep shielding himself!), Erap and other known personalities have sounded off their opposition to the charter change. Will the evil bitch listen? Abangan natin ang susunod na kabanata. Naguumpisa pa lang and laban!

  39. parasabayan parasabayan

Sabit Swingson and Atienza may just be using Paquiao for his dollar accounts as in MONEY LAUNDERING! Of course pinagkakakitaan din siya si sabit swingson because of his national gambling business! National Security Advicer kuno! Wala na lang mapaglagyan diyan kay sabit swingson so the evil bitch has to create a position for him. Ika nga BAYAD UTANG lang yan. Even if sabit swingson just sleeps, womanize, travel and manage his own gambling business, walang masasabi si unano coz the position the unano gave sabit is only to pay her UTANG for booting out Erap. WE ALL KNOW THAT, DON’T WE?

  40. bitchevil bitchevil

Many government officials and politicians are heading agencies without performing. Let’s take Lito Lapid for example. Is there anything from the philippine constitution that the people can recall the president? If the people can recall their Governor or Mayor, how about their president?

  42. Recall against Aldrin San Pedro? The people of Muntinlupa must be foolish. Unless this is the handiwork of any of Gloria’s lapdogs including Toting Bunye, Ronnie Puno, and Jimmy Fresnedi whose protegés the young Aldrin all beat in the last elections. Muntinlupa is clean, even the sidewalks are painted and plantboxes tidy. There are sufficient traffic enforcers unlike before. Take the Susana Heigths exit from SLEX and compare the place with the rest of Metro Manila. Even Bayani’s Marikina cannot top that.

    Andres,

We need to sit-down and talk about all privations still in our hearts at saka tayo magsimula upang bumalangkas ng tunay na muog upang pagsamahan ng itoý maging matagumpay once and for all.
