Update from ABS-CBN: Mike Arroyo “Out of danger”: Malacañang
Mike Arroyo had a heart attack aboard plane enroute to Peru, where Gloria Arroyo will attend the APEC summit.
The plane made an emergency landing in Osaka,Japan.
His doctors will fly to Osaka while Gloria Arroyo will proceed to Lima, Peru.

Arroyo plane lands in Japan; FG to be rushed to hospital
The plane carrying President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo on Friday was diverted to Japan, a radio report said.
The report, aired over local radio station dzBB, added that First Gentleman Jose Miguel “Mike” Arroyo was rushed to a hospital.
Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita said in a television interview late Friday that Mr Arroyo, who underwent a heart surgery in 2007, was feeling ill and pointed to his heart problems. He did not have other details.
Undersecretary Anthony Golez said Mr Arroyo seemed to be stable. He added that Philippine Embassy officials in Japan are on a standby.
GMA-7 aired a television crawler saying that three of the First Gentleman’s doctors will be flown to Japan.
No other details were available.
Mrs Arroyo left Manila Friday afternoon on her way to Peru to attend the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Peru.
Last April 8, 2007, Mr Arroyo was taken to the St. Louis hospital in Baguio City after suffering what doctors there initially assessed as gastritis or inflammation of the stomach lining.
