“Well,” she says, “I think one of the life-changing things that he did, one of many, is that I was absolutely never going to get pregnant. I never felt that it was the right thing to do. Now I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world. It taught me a lot about life, just the process of it, and now we have three other beautiful children that wouldn’t otherwise be here.”
How did Pitt help change her mind? “When we first met, he talked about having children in that way. I talked about only adopting children,” she says. After they had agreed that Pitt would adopt Maddox and Zahara, she recalls, “he stopped talking about having other kids in the other way. So I suppose in my heart I realized that he was happy with them as his children, completely. I knew he would never see them as different, and that gave me a certain peace. Then I suppose I just looked at him and loved him and just felt open to [getting pregnant]. I suddenly wanted to. It’s one of those things you can’t explain.”

Beautiful picture of Angie. Brad is so lucky to have this woman with a big and open heart for children and a cause that completely changed her life to become an effective and influential ambassador of goodwill and most loved actor in town.

She’s an enigma. Her life-stlye was controversial (before?) and a UN ambassador at the same time. She once admitted being bi-sexual, not really a good role model. I guess times has changed.

NEW YORK – The Russians have turned down Sen. John McCain’s request for campaign money – and had a bit of a laugh at his expense.
Their public snub is a comeback to McCain’s increasingly tough stance against Russia.
Russia’s ambassador to the UN, Vitaly Churkin, and several other diplomats at the mission received a fundraising appeal from the Republican presidential nominee on Thursday, according to Ruslan Bakhtin, a spokesman for Russia’s UN mission.
“Dear Friend,” begins the six-page letter to Churkin, asking him for up to $5,000 to defeat Sen. Barack Obama and help McCain “promote freedom and democracy throughout the world,” according to a copy of the letter provided to The Associated Press by the Russian UN mission.
Ironically, the Arizona senator has proposed expelling Russia from the Group of Eight club of the world’s major developed democracies and said Russia deserved international condemnation after the August war between Russia and Georgia.
