Sa report ng Philippine Star at ABS-CBN, sabi ni Esperon na gusto raw ni Gloria Arroyo isang taon ang kanyang extension ngunit mas maigsi ang gusto niya para naman raw hindi maantala ang promotion ng ibang opisyal.
Ganun pala, e. Hindi pala kapit- tuko itong si Esperon.. Tingnan nyo, alalang-alala siya sa promosyon ng ibang opisyal kahit na siya lamang ang maaring maglipol ng mga komunista. Wala ng iba. Kung hindi siya i-extend, masisira ang takbo ng “Bantay-Laya”, ang programa laban sa mga New People’s Army.
Sinabi sa report na kailangan raw i–extend si Esperon para ra hindi masira ang “momentum” ng Bantay Laya. Ibig sabihin noon masisira kapag si Lt. Gen. Alexander Yano ang chief of staff sa susunod na buwan kapag nag-retire na si Esperon.
Ang hindi sinasabi na nasa-isip ng lahat ay umubra ang gimik niyang kokorokoko. Di ba pinalutang niya noong isang buwean na may kudeta raw na mangyayari sa Jan. 22 kahit alam naman nilang wala talaga. Walang nanagyari kasi nga wala naman talaga.
Ngayon pinapalabas nila magaling ang kanilang intelligence. Nahuli nila ang limang Scout rangers na may tatlong kalawanging baril. Nahinto raw nila ang kudeta.
Kahit hindi binili ng taumbayan,binili nman ni Gloria Arroyo. Kaya iyan, extended nga si Esperon.

Maraming ngang departamento na kahit dalawa lang ang nakalagay sa batas na posisyon ng undersecretary, nag-aapoint si Arroyo ng sobra-sobra.
Sabi ni Ermita, marami raw sa mga presidential adviser na yun ay walang sweldo.
Hindi naman siguro tanga itong si Ermita na ang isang negosyante ay magsasayang ng oras ang isang negosyante sa isang posisyon na wala siyang mahihita. Magkano ba ang sweldo ng isang presidential adviser? Hindi naman yun susobra sa P30,000 isang buwan.
Ang isang negosyante, kunyari sa mining o pagmimina, bakit naman siya hindi mag-adviser ng libre. Anmg kapalit naman noon ay mga deals na bilyon-bilyon ang kikitain.

Most of the commanders are PMA graduates who should be in the battlefield. These PMAers look down upon the PNPA graduates. BTW, Obama won in SC. I am not keen about a black president of the USA, but I like Obama. This guy has a lot many ideas on how to run a USA worthy to lead the world to freedom and real democracy sans that air of supremacy. I hope he will win the democratic nomination.
As for the Republican, of course, I would prefer a fellow LDS to win the race. Then, we see what God has really planned for him. I love Broadway plays ,Rose! I hope the fate of our Tanay Boys will not be as tragic as the play you watched! The anguish of the wives of the missing military husbands must be unbearable! At least, the only consolation our Tanay Officers’ wives have is that their men are still alive and can be visited once in a while. I heard though that the exhorbitant price of gasoline and the long drive to Tanay, make it virtually impossible to visit them regularly. For those who do not have their own vehicle, they have to transfer four to six times and by the time they reach the camp gate they have to walk all the way to detention center. Imagine the hardships and sacrifices of these wives particularly if there are children with them! All for DOROBO! Pathetic state of our men in uniform and their families!
