The way I look in Trillanes case and the ruling of the judge on the case, the fulcrum of justice will not tip the balance on the 11 million plus who voted for him under the present despotic regime. The only hope for Trillanes to get the judge compassionate ruling; Someone has to circulate a petition for the entire 11 million and present an argument in the Sala of the judge and convince the court that; This is what the people want–To attend the senate deliberation and perform his duty as an elected legislature–It is a long shot, but who knows!
I am hoping that they can convince the 11 million plus to sign a petition.
A manifesto with an impressive eleven million signatures (and thumb marks) or more would be a convincing show of people power to urge a judge to consider with absolute carefulness. It carries an inference, an implied threat albeit weak. On the other hand, kidney failure requiring dialysis procedure is life threatening and the treatment is time consuming, stressful and very, very expensive. The love of spirits could also wreak havoc on the liver as well as the pocketbook. These are the counterbalancing factors involved in the decision to be made by Judge Pimentel. Let us hope he has the wherewithal and fortitude needed to arrive at a just decision.

Here’s just my share of opinion: Many of the bloggers here are based abroad. Instead of manifesting their desires to join the organization and sign, why don’t they also come up with their own groups in their places? Let’s start with those who are proud of their second homes. Incidentally, I first mentioned this “Trillanes Movement” in another thread which most of you might have overlooked. It’s a good think Ellen came up with this thread about the movement.
Sorry, it’s a good thing (not think). Furthermore, are there funds to run the organization? Any organization no matter how noble the goal is cannot survive without funds. Anyway, I presume those who initiated this movement have taken that (funds) into consideration.

Off topic, Sen. Trillanes made a timely action on the Tipo-Tipo fiasco as contained in today’s issue of the Daily Tribune. The first part of the report:

Antonio Trillanes lV, as he accused Palace officials of having a hand in “feeding” the soldiers to the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) rebels through an ambush, that saw 14 Marines killed, with 10 of them beheaded and their body parts mutilated, seen as the most brutal act committed by rebels in the Mindanao war.”
