Ibig sabihin ba noon maniniwala tayong bababa siya sa 2010 kapag natapos na ang kanyang ninakaw na termino?
Ewan sa inyo ngunit ako hindi ako naniniwala. Hindi ko pa rin makalimutan ang kanyang sinabi sa anibersaryo ng kamatayan ni Gat Jose Rizal noong Dec. 30,2002 hindi siya tatakbo sa pagka-presidente sa 2004 elections dahil kung tatakbo raw siya magkakaroon ng walang katapusan na hidwaan sa pulitika.
Sinabi pa niya sa interview niya sa CNN na kahit hindi raw niya matapos ang mga gusto niyang gagawin pagdating ng 2004, talagang bababa siya sa kapangyarihan na kanyang inagaw kay Joseph Estrada noong January 2001.
Maraming naniwala. Maraming mga kakampi niya ang naghanda tumakbo sa pagka-pangulo sa 2004 katulad ni Raul Roco na noon ay education secretary.
Sampung buwan ang nakalipas, bumaligtad na si Arroyo. Inanunsyo: “Ako ay tatakbo para presidente sa eleksyon sa 2004.” Hindi lang sa tumakbo siya, nandaya pa ng husto para lang magpatuloy sa kapangyarihan .

Kaya nanloloko na naman si Arroyo dahil nakita nila sa resulta ng eleksyon, lalo pa sa mga nanalo sa senador na galit ang taumbayan sa kanya. Tingnan mo ang nangyari sa kanyang dating chief of staff na si Mike Defensor. Dahil sa baho ni Arroyo, kahit anong endorso ni Boy Abunda, anong sipag ni Defensor sa kampanya at laki ng gastos niya, hindi pa rin siya nanalo.
Kapag wala sa kapangyarihan si Arroyo, sampahan siya ng katakot-takot na kaso ng plunder at election sabotage sa ginawa niyang pandaraya noong 2004 elections. Hindi lang siya nagnakaw ng boto. Bilyun-bilyun na pera ng taumbayan na dapat ay para sa mga mahihirap ang ginamit para pambayad para sa mga nagtulong sa kanya sa pandaraya.
Nakita natin kung paano ginamit ang pork barel para bilhin ang boto ng mga kongresista para lang huwag bumoto sa impeachment laban sa kanya.
Piangyayabang niya na 6.9 percent raw lumago ang ekonomiya. Kayo ba gumanda ang buhay nyo?

It is calling all OFWs and the global Filipinos that should this administration continue FOOLING AROUND with the will of the people, their members will not remit to the Philippines any money for 30 days.
It also says that the 30 days without remittance by OFWs to the Philippine will mean:
1. Around a $1 billion lose of dollar earnings for the corrupt government of the Philippines.
2. There’s no economic miracle by an economic genius but it’s simply the money of the OFWs keeping the economy afloat.
What 6.9% na paglago ng ekoniya? Wala yan without the remittances of the OFWS and the global Filipinos. Suma total, siya lang ang maganda ang buhay! Aywan lang natin kung bakit hindi gumanda ang anyo!

Aling Gloria wants the nation to look at 2010 as her exit point, even while she’s exerting every effort to ensure that 2010 will turn out to be nothing more than a mirage. The nation’s collective outrage will never bring her close to that mirage if she uses her weight to undermine the nation’s sovereign will.

last nyt when we went out with our husband-wife group, we wre discussing this stupid issue of so-called economic week-ends, or the making so much big-fuss over Filipino modern “heroes” like mani-pokyaw, or the Mt Everest climbers, or the gold-silver-bronze medalist that bring “glory and fame” to the Inang Bayan. while we dont deny our talented and skilled kababayan who had made names for themselves – and God bless them for thinking of their country – we still have to ask ourselves, Do we always need such hero-figures to “wake ourselves up” just so to realize that Filipinos or not, people should live, work, do their best, be responsible citizens and family members and above all, be someone who has clean motives. With all the meals in the world that our kababayans will garner, will it evr bring assurance that there will be 3 meals a day to the family of 10 of mang pido, or will an abandoned lola whi lives in the barrio taking care of a cerebral palsy apo abandoned by his own mother ever have the chance to have her apo be seen bevn just decent doctor?!….again, it jut boils down to our country being too show-biz oriented. i do hope and pray that the new breed of “politicians” in the limelight now will DO THE TRUTH that they have been fighting for pre-election scenario.
For now, even if the counting hasnt been final, we dont let our guards down. But let us not forget those who are starting to court the people this early for 2010…in short, those who are doing early campaigns now must be given attention as well – whether they will be fooling and “buying” the people this early or will they be making a difference to change the system for a better generation….

Yes, with all the issues mentioned above,it just shows that whoever will be wagging the banana (or moolah) as bait, will surely have something to say to all the issues stated above. all 7 issues are not even the sum of it all so to speak…there are still more unresolved issues that hound every juan, pedro and tomas – 3 meals a day, wage hike, “legitimate” jobs (not contractual or dream jobs that turn into nightmares), decent environment, atleast decent school supplies and classrooms with roof and walls…the list goes on..these are the cancer that should be dealt ever since!

Whatever turnout you use, it’s less than 2 million.
The 2 million include the 330,000 registered voters of Maguindanao (something like 150,000 votes cast) which the opposition will not allow to be counted because they were manufactured votes. no election was held there.

France appealed to the Philippine government to sign and ratify an international treaty on forced disappearances in view of the pending assistance of local authorities by human rights experts from Europe in solving the unabated political killings in the country.
French Ambassador to the Philippines Gerard Chesnel yesterday stressed the need for all democratic governments to support the treaty on disappearances, which will criminalize and put an end to rampant state-sanctioned abductions.
“We do regret and condemn disappearances anywhere in the world,” Chesnel said, adding, “It’s something that democratic countries cannot accept.”
Only the US is happy with the “success” and “maturity” of the Philippines in terms of violence!

Trillanes won’t escape if allowed bail — GO

Detained Navy Lieutenat/Senior Grade Antonio Trillanes IV, who may be on his way to being elected as a senator, will not escape nor leave the country should he be allowed to post bail for his temporary freedom.
The assurance was given yesterday by the Genuine Opposition (GO) under whose banner Trillanes ran in the May 14 mid-term elections.
Adel Tamano, spokesman for GO, said Trillanes, who is facing coup charges for his involvement in the failed Oakwood mutiny in 2003, has the right to bail since there is legal basis for him to be accorded one.

As an observer, what I find commendable about what has happened to the Filipinos this time is the reconciliation that a lot many skeptics even thought would be impossible to be gained as we hear for example the son of Ninoy saying that his father’s arch-rival, Marcos, was far better than the power grabber who has caused the Filipinos more heartaches and pains, and the son of Marcos for instance joining the opposition than patronize the creep who may or may not allow his father to be buried at the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani as presidents of the country are supposed to be buried there regardless of whether or not they have been really heroes during their lifetime.
At least, I know Marcos served his country as a guerrilla in the north during WWII. That in fact qualified him to be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

Golly, this woman cannot even be bothered by her conscience for what she has been doing to the Philippines and the Filipino people! She must be possessed by the devil to be able to stand there and pretend to be holy. What a hypocrite and a creep!
I wonder if the reason why she keeps on going to Rome (This is the 3rd or 4th time she has been on a visit to the Vatican since she grabbed power as a matter of fact) is to seek absolution for her sins as if her visit there would be enough to wash away her crimes against the Philippines and the Filipino people.
Someone should tell this creep that without retribution, sins cannot be forgiven. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 Jhn. 1:9)
In the case of the unano, she still has to confess of her sins in 2004 and even before and after that, and make amends for them. Otherwise, her sins are not forgiven. It is not enough that she tells the priest, who tolerates her of her sins and crimes, and then silence the priest by bribing him with money from the PCSO. She should serve some term in jail together with her husband, and those who have connived with them in committing their crimes against the Filipinos.
It is actually as simple as that. Nothing complicated! Just follow the rules of law, of God and of men.

TU: Mindanao may win it for Zubiri, Recto

MANILA, Philippines — Facing defeat in the senatorial race, the administration’s Team Unity (TU) is pinning its hopes on less than two million votes from six provinces in Mindanao that have yet to be canvassed to push Miguel Zubiri and Ralph Recto into the Magic 12.
The provinces are Basilan, Lanao del Sur, Lanao del Norte, Maguindanao, Sultan Kudarat and Surigao del Norte. Fraud allegedly attended the elections in these areas.
“We are praying and hoping that Recto and Zubiri can get enough votes there so they can make it [to the Top 12],” TU lawyer Romulo Macalintal told the Philippine Daily Inquirer by phone Sunday.

Frankly, I spent a semester at Ateneo long, long time ago because it was the only place where there was a Japanese instructor who could teach me advance Japanese as I was going to graduate school in Japan after finishing my BA in UP. I did not like the atmosphere not being Catholic and not being used to the aura of hypocrisy of many parochial school graduates, my younger sister included. And since I did not have a diploma there, I don’t consider myself an Atenean.

Go to Manresa and visit the chapel- the cave where he wrote the Ignatian Exercises and you will feel his struggles. Visit Xavier, and you will see the influence of Ignatius in Francis Xavier. I did in 2005 and visited all these places and indeed Ignatius was a great saint- a true soldier of Christ. Ano ang nangyari sa iyo?

Mandaya na sila kung gusto nila but if the rule is followed to the letter, it is impossible for these crooks to win by now. We have been told in fact that it is standard rule that each precinct should have only 500 voters. Now I understand that there are just 6 more CoCs to count and if we go by the rule, this means there are only 3,000 more votes to canvas. If the rule is not followed, then for sure, something fishy is done, and therefore, when there is that suspicion of fraud, it is but logical to consider the CoCs there null and void. It is as simple as that as a matter of fact. Hindi naman kailangan paikot-ikutin pa.
One thing that the new Senators can do perhaps is have a rule to have all laws in the Philippines revised and simply worded, something like what our lawmakers here have done, and when they make laws, they should have a special commission of lawyers to do such task, not leave the making of the laws to the politicians to prevent these people from entertaining those who pass laws to them to pass in the house for approval for their own vested interests. Enough is enough of the kagaguhan!!!
