Marami ngayon ang gustong marinig si Lt(sg) Antonio Trillanes IV, kandidato para senador ng Genuine Opposition, tungkol sa kanyang nakakagulat na pagpasok sa Magic 12 ngunit hindi siya mai-interview ng media dahil sinabi ng military at ng Makati Regional Trial Court na hanggang campaign period lang daw ang permiso na binigay sa kanya para makipag-usap sa media.
Hanggang ngayon hindi pa namumulat ang mata nitong military pati na ang korte na ang freedom of expression o kalayaan ng isang tao magpahiwatig ng kanyang saloobin ay ginagarantiya ng Constitution.
Habang hindi pa naproklama ang mga nanalo, hindi pa tapos ang election period. Kandidato pa si Trillanes at gusto malaman ng tao ang kanyang saloobin at opinion sa mga nangyayari ngayon lalo na, na siya ang pinagu-usapan.
Sa Lunes, dudulog na naman sa korte si Trillanes sa pamamagitan ng kanyang abogado para klaruhin ang kanyang karapatan makipag-usap sa media.
Para rin sa mga mamamayang Pilipino, karapatan rin naming ang magkaroon ng impormasyon sa mga bagay na nakaka-apekto sa aming pamumuhay. Sobra sampung milyong Pilipino ang bumoto kay Trillanes at interesado kami malaman ang kanyang saloobin.
Nagpasalamat kami kay Judge Pimentel na kahit tatlong linggo lang ang binigay niya sa media bago eleksyon na makausap naming ng personal si Trillanes. Sa tatlong linggo na ‘yun naipahiwatig ni Trillanes ang kanyang panindigan sa iba’t-ibang isyu.
Sinabi niya na hindi niya pinagsisihan ang kanyang ginawang pagbulgar ng mga katiwalian sa military noong July 27, 2003 sa tinatawag natin na Oakwood mutiny. Naniniwala pa rin si Trillanes na bugos na presidente si Arroyo at totoo naman dahil kailan ba siya hinalal ng taumbayan sa kanyang kapangyarihan ngayon.
Ang pagkapanalo ni Trillanes (pangsiyam siya sa nationwide exit poll ng Pulse Asia/ABS-CBN) ay ikinagulat ng marami dahil hindi siya namayagpag sa mga surveys bago eleksyon.
Kami naman hindi nagtataka dahil sa pag-uusap nmain sa mga taumbayan hanggang probinsiya, gusto siya ng mga tao.
Walang pera si Trillanes. Kukunti lang ang kanyang TV ads. Hindi katulad nila Pichay at Joker Arroyo na halos oras-oras nakikita mo ang mukha sa TV.
Nakakulong pa siya! Ngunit nanalo.
Sinabi na natin bago eleksyon na ang bawat boto kay Trillanes ay sampal kay Gloria Arroyo. Sa exit poll, lumalavas na sobra 11 milyon ang bumoto kay Trillanes.
Ibig sabihin noon 11 milyon na Pilipino ang sumampal kay Arroyo. Hindi pa kaya yan nahihilo?
Gusto siguro nila Ellen rebolusyon? Pero huwag silang kasisigurong lahat ng sundalo ay papanig sa kanila. Ngayon pang lumalakas na ang loob nila! You bet, it is just a matter of time now that these creeps will go down in Philippine political history as the first kurakots to go to jail for life if not with death penalty.

I like that movie by Clint Eastwood “Flags of Our Fathers” where he said that there were actually no heroes. I agree with him. The word is not “hero” but “martyr,” an act of sacrifice for one’s belief, principle and yes, even patriotism. Trillanes is all that.

For the life of me, I cannot accept na bumaksak si Trillanes. If the exit polls of ABS-CBN/Pulse Asia “lumalabas na sobra 11 milyon ang bumoto kay Trillanes.” In w/c case, Trillanes should not fall below #12 at any time during the count.

When you do face Him, do you really want to do so knowing that you were instrumental in a massive attempt to cheat the Filipinos, and this while heading the body tasked to ensure honest elections? I see you on TV and I see the face of a man who is not inherently bad. Very well said Skip. Chief Justice Panganiban did the right thing before he retired from the Supreme court, he opposed the hastily prepared charter change. I hope that Abalos will heed the same-to protect the peoples votes from being rigged. Trillanes is now out of the Magic 12. This is our worst fear that the election returns are being altered. There is too much time to do more cheating when the votes are counted too long.

The truth will always come out somehow and the truth about Team Unity’s 12-0 victory in Maguindanao, where TU senatorial candidate Luis “Chavit” Singson topped the Senate vote, is that there was no voting in Maguindanao, and worse, the ballots and the summary of votes were filled up by teachers assigned to man the polls and thumbmarked by children even before the scheduled polls.
A participant of the wholesale Maguindano vote fraud who turned whistleblower, exposed this wholesale election fraud yesterday in an interview over radio dzRH, baring that the voting was over even before the precincts were scheduled to open.
At the same time, the Legal Network for Truthful Elections (Lente) which works alongside the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting and other watchdog groups, called on the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to speedily probe the 12-0 votes and suspend canvassing of poll results in areas that produced the 12-0 vote, the latest of which came from Bohol and reportedly, Eastern Samar, as claimed by TU.

According to a report I have received Joe de Venecia spent half a billion pesos for his campaign buying votes at 500 pesos minimum and 3,000 pesos maximum. Wow! But is that legal?
Where I come from, this kind of overspending is prohibited by the law, and when a tip like this is received, the police don’t waste a minute more to mobilize a team in hundreds to investigate in order to bring to justice the lawbreakers, and stop the bad habit. They not only arrest the candidates buying votes but also those who sell their votes to the highest bidders. That’s why in general our elections here are clean and no one dies for their favorite candidates.
No wonder this JdV is now eyeing the ChaCha because there is money in it to recover his losses. Pero wala namang kadala-dala ang mga pangalatok. Bakit ba binoboto pa nila ang kurakot na mamang iyan? Ang sama talaga ng mga ugali!
After all the cheating, vote buying, and all the illegal stuffs associated with elections, why do we consider election still the exercise of Democratic Rights? Isn’t it Ironic, that the most important right of all granted in a democratic society is the one most abused? TU leads 6-5-1 in COMELEC tally
President Arroyo’s senatorial candidates edged out the Genuine Opposition in the latest results of the tally of the Commission on Elections’s National Board of Canvassers at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City on Sunday.
If the score during Saturday’s canvassing was 8-2-2 in favor of GO, Team Unity bets on Sunday bagged six spots, five for the opposition and one for an independent in the “Magic 12.”
As of 8:42 p.m, Loren Legarda led the canvassing with 4,027,935 votes, followed by Francis “Chiz” Escudero with 3,856,332. From third to fifth place were: independent candidate Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan (3,390,322), Panfilo “Ping” Lacson (3,272,297), Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III (3,126,969) and Manuel “Manny” Villar (3,074,792).
The last seven spots were composed of Team Unity candidates Joker Arroyo (3,037,828), Edgardo Angara (2,970,020), Ralph Recto (2,645,025), Prospero “Butch” Pichay (2,516,228), Miguel “Migz” Zubiri (2,475,406) and Cesar Montano (2,434,286).
TU’s Michael Defensor was at 13th place with 2,426,614 votes, followed by independent bet Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan with 2,407,825 votes.
GO’s Alan Peter Cayetano and Antonio Trillanes IV were bumped off from their top spots. As of Saturday Cayetano and Trillanes were at eighth and ninth places, respectively.
As of Sunday night, however, Cayetano was at 15th while Trillanes went seven notches down to 16th spot.

When the forms (certificate of canvassing and others) were stolen from the COMOLEC, I knew then that this election will be rigged again and BIG! No matter how Abalaos says that there is no cause for alarm because he had circulated the numbers of the lost documents to all regions, I knew it will be the other way around. Di ka mag-iisa. I too can actually feel my blood roiling and moiling inside my veins everytime I see TU bets defiling the Magic 12.
Ngitngit na talaga ang nararamdaman ko. I was mad with Erap before but to his credit, he was never this brazen. His naivete sort of mitigated his shortcomings.
But the feelings that Gloria stirs up in me is unspeakable. Iba itong creature na ito. She has studied everything in advance. There is a method to her madness and it freaks the bejeebers out of me. She has learned from the mistakes of Marcos and Erap and knows exactly what she has to do to stay in power.
She knows fully well that the fatal mistake committed by both Marcos and Erap was allowing the crowd to grow into a critical mass. So she has trundled out a panoply of suppressive tools including EO 464 and PP 1017, all designed to nip any mass action in the bud.
Such cold, calculating evil.
But as they say, her sun has to set some time. Hindi naman araw araw Pasko para sa kanya.

We’ve all been a quite edgy these past few days which is a good thing, I guess. To me it means that there still are enough people left who are concerned that the votes are properly counted.
Through Ellen’s blog and the inputs of the commenters, Gloria is being made painfully aware that we are on to her. We are watching her every move, ever sleight-of-hand, every legerdemain, every attempt to fudge the results to favor her luckless bets.
She is also being made aware that we are prepared to take to the streets once again, should her brazenness exceed our threshold.
