Twice rebuffed by the Supreme Court in her bogus “People’s Intiative”, Arroyo has given the signal to violate again the Constitution: Constituent Assembly minus the Senate.
At least, that’s according to House Speaker Jose de Venecia in this report in the Inquirer online. Click here.
De Venecia also wants avenge the killing of his fantasy to be prime minister under a parlimentary system. He is supporting the impeachment of Chief Justice Artemio Panganiban, who is retiring on Dec. 7 and Justice Antonio Carpio, who penned the decision junking the People’s Initiative. Click here for Malaya’s story.
Yeah!
Agree to “obey” Gloria on this one.
Push gloria out of the window and into oblivion!
Ellen:
What a way to incite rebellion herself! The Bansot must be too desperate and really illusory to think that she is above the law just because she holds office at the palace by the murky river. All the more reason now why the Senators, regardless of whether or not for the administration should join hands together to repel this attempt to render them as useless decoration to make the Philippines still look a democracy.
This Bansot is really giving Filipinos a good lesson to learn. About time they say “NO!” to this nincompoop pretending to be what she is not really. They should not allow this bogus president to mess up their government. They should kick her out now! PATALSIKIN NA, NOW NA!
On the other hand, what she does now is actually being watched carefully by the international community, and any false move will spell her doom. She should not be allowed to act like some emperor, especially not someone like Nero, the psychopath, who burned Rome!
I wonder what and how much De Venecia is getting for acting like Bansot’s Barbie doll?
Demonyo talaga! 😡
Impeach the SC Justices for Decision against the Government?? Are we a Banana Republic or a Comical Republic? Hehehe, it’ no longer funny, when the speaker of the House, a member of an independent Branch of Government, known as the Legislative Body is supporting the initiative for the impeachment of the other members of the other Branch for doing their Job. I suggest to Speaker De VE to see a Psychiatrist before the symptoms get any serious, or he may not enjoy his retirement in Luxury, but instead in an Institution for the retired Comedians..hehehe…
gma may get a putsch and it will be final.
Norpil,
I agree with your comments! Talagang TONTA si Gloria at TONTO si JdV. Mga old hags na mga yan. It’s time we hear the fat woman sing.
*********************
Kick the Gloria in the face! Maybe it will make her look better! Sayang lang nga ang sapatos!
Sige pa Glueria, sige pa Taenga. Kailangan ng mga pinoy ang matawa!
Guluhin pa ninyo, never surrender kayo sa chacha ha? Ijits!
Jose De Venecia’s CON=ASS formula is another grand deception to fool the Filipino people. These crooks never learn from the Supreme Court’s finality of bogus people’s initiative of Gloria. The Philippine senate will not allow the lower house’s solo CON+ASS flight. Charter change 2007 is a lost cause.
Never heard of such story when we were in the Philippines.
Sabi sa Malaya, “Gloria: Cases vs Erap, Gringo should move faster.”
Both context of the word apparently apply to the Bansot, her husband and their minions. PATALSIKIN NA, NOW NA!
The circus is coming to town, Malacanang Palace and Batasan Pamsansa-caucus ala circus. Let’s watch the Jose De Venecia-led Congress of FREAKS how they perform the greatest circus in Philippine history. Only morons and certified lapdogs are allowed to watch Gloria Arroyo-De Venecia greatest circus. No live telecast allowed!
Gloria and her Legions are really in DESPERADO mode! Are they prepared for the consequences of pushing for Cha-Cha at all cost, to extend of not including the Senate? Are they prepared for the consequences if there are no elections in 2007? Are they prepared for the consequences if they impeach Chief Justice Panginiban and Justice Carpio? They won’t know what hit them if any or all this happens. Gloria and her Legions are indeed crossing the threshhold.
It’s so bad being in Gloria’s camp today that if Eddie Gil decides to run again with the opposition, he will surely win by a large margin against any of Gloria’s dogs! Cheating will be difficult for them to do as all eyes will be watching.
VOTING FOR THOSE ASSOCIATED WITH GLORIA IS A “YES” VOTE FOR GLORIA FOR LIFE. WE MUST CAMPAIGN HARD NOT TO GET ANY OF GLORIA’S DOGS IN ANY GOVERNMENT POSITION!!! WHETHER WE ARE IN THE PHILIPPINES OR NOT, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE, NO MATTER HOW SMALL. LET OUR VOICES BE HEARD AND LET THOSE DOGS KNOW THAT WE WANT A LEADER NOT A DOG CALLED GLORIA!
************************
By the way, Anna de Brux or Ystakei, will there be foreigners who will be in the Philippines to watch the elections in 2007?
Ooops, Anna de Brux or Ystakei, I meant:
Will there be FOREIGN OBERVERS who will be in the Philippines to watch the elections in 2007?
GLORIA is the PROBLEM.
THE FILIPINOS are the SOLUTION.
PREVENT A NIGHTMARE, VOTE WISELY IN 2007.
VOTE FOR THOSE WHOSE PLATFORM IS TO KICK OUT GLORIA!
Re: Anna de Brux’s Push Gloria out of the window and into oblivion!
I’m thinking Gloria Arroyo’s FINAL PUSH (physically) into stinky Pasig River for good. The Filipino people are really desperate for a change. Blackmailing the Supreme Court for protecting the interests of the people is a bad precedent. Checks and balances are the essence of a democratic society. Maybe it’s only the first time in history that a co-equal branch of government blackmails the judiciary.
Chabeli:
Filipinos should request the UN to send foreign observers who will not be just silent observers like those foreigners who went there and were rendered practically useless in 2004.
Dapat katulad noong mga election observers in Cambodia or Afghanistan who oversaw directly the elections there to insure that there would not be any cheating, vote-rigging, manipulation of votes, intimidation and harassment of voters.
By all means this should be petitioned by millions of Filipinos through the help of lawyers like Harry Roque. It can be done, you know. If there is a will, there is a way especially when the Philippines as a member nation of the UN is duty-bound to abide by its charter.
Joe de Venecia is typified in these verses in the Bible: “Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. • • •Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.” (Matt. 12: 29, 33-35)
In 1998, this De Venecia made a criminal a heroine and dedicated his Migrant Act to her even when she was found guilty of killing a compatriot and an innocent child in his attempt to win the hearts of Filipino voters as he was running for the presidency. Fortunately, he lost. That was probably why he made sure he could get even with his rival by helping remove him, and reason for his devotion to the bogus president he patronizes now.
Why then should Filipinos allow this crook to cheat them of their choice not to pass the ChaCha even with a bogus initiative claiming identity with the disembodied spirits who were driven out of heaven?!
Gloria gives order for Final Push! Ano…lalaban? Eh, di kasi, Bobo na…Igno pa! Last card na talaga nila ito…”By hook or by crook” daw dapat talagang matupad ang fantasy ni Gloria….hala sige…kung lalaban…di….hindi na nga magtatagal….final push na rin tayo sa blog! Sabi nga nung lasing na Ilonggo: Away!!! Tutal Law-ay, (and in a low voice) said: Kon puti it…g n’yo, itom akon!!! Bato kamo?
I agree with you, Pandawan. And I think many are of the same mind as you. Charter change per se is not bad. But gloria arroyo and joe de venecia are using it as a means to survive and perpetuate themelves in power.
Like many of the things that gloria arroyo has touched, charter change has been sullied because she made it her cause.
Charter Change can only be a legitimate exercise for the Filipino people AFTER Gloria Arroyo.
Allan Peter Cayetano. Kaya mga ka-blogs…by hook and by crook(not even “or”) ipipilit talaga ni gloria at jdv ang kanilang GUSTO.
As of this writing, JDV and his group are contemplating on filing impeachment complaint against SC Chief Panganiban ang Associate Justice Carpio on their decision to junk the People’s Initiative with finality. What a SOB ! Why not impeach then Davide for ousting Erap?
They both know they are facing the twilight and the end of their political careers, so they have to do whatever it takes to save it. They are like a pair of stupid monkeys trapped in a quicksand and in their desperation to get out and save themselves, they clutched on banana peelings thinking that it will help them get out from the pit.
Ms. Ellen,
An off-topic but, I choose to post this breaking news in this article, which was broadcasted by Ricky Carandang from his Mornings@ANC show said that Max Soliven died in Japan.
Well – Tiyanak must look for someone who does the same thing as Max Soliven was doing in his daily newspaper.
oops typing error… is should be:
An off-topic but, I choose to post this breaking NEWS in this article, which was broadcasted by Ricky Carandang from his Mornings@ANC show said that Max Soliven died in Japan.
Max Soliven died in Japan?
I’m sorry to hear that. I have some things to say about this guy, but out of respect, I’ll just keep it to myself now.
Emilio,
Naligaw ang post ko about Soliven’s death. Nandoon sa current thread. Sorry.
How can this guy have the nerve to say that the ChaCha is popular and supported by millions of Filipinos. The Filipino people have spoken against this government of the Bansot as a matter of fact, and they want her out soonest possible.
Any charter change under her leadership should be out, and considered mute and academic. No need to think parliamentary.
Ellen is right. The Bansot, De Venecia, et al ay pushing for this ChaCha not for the country’s sake but for their own survival, lalo na si Pandak who wants to be a queen.
Yuko says: Ellen is right. The Bansot, De Venecia, et al ay pushing for this ChaCha not for the country’s sake but for their own survival, lalo na si Pandak who wants to be a queen.
You are absolutely correct. The coming May 2007 mid-term election will result in the changing of guards in the House of Representatives. With non-administration candidates winning almost all seats, that will be a big blow to Tiyanak’s dream of EK.
Then, and only then we can see a real GMA impeachment process!
Changing the form of government is not what the Filipino people need, IT IS WHAT JDV and GMA WANTS!
So- people don’t be deceived by this tricky maneuvering of JDV and GMA.
If voters wise up, and if Comelec becomes independent even for once, people may be able to vote out those suckers in congress. Looks like the Senate will be dominated by “oppositionists” (included here are the balimbings and hunyangos). But I would rather vote for them than those admin ass lickers and pork-lovers, so long as they impeach Gloria next time around. Same thing for the lower house.
GMA and JDV are clearly desperate now because they know their days in power are numbered. Cha-cha is the last salvation for them to stay on. I’d like to see JDV’s impeachment move for Panganiban and Carpio, and the rest of the 8 justices, to prosper. That way, people will see how rotten this congress is. For Panganiban who is retiring soon, he has nothing to lose.
24 November 2006
As I said before, i have talked to one of the mover of cha-cha, according to him, that was the very intention of JDV, to become the prime minister, however, the funny thing is the parliamentary system that he said is that the president will be selected among the members of the parliament.
They are rotting and stinking to high heavens! No amount of changing the constitution can make them smell good.
Prime Minister to be Jose De Venecia should start paying his long overdue debt and stop fooling the people with dubious charter change proposition. The government assumed debt from Jose De Venecia’s Landoil Resources Corp. amounting to $165 M behest loan and paid only 13 million pesos from the 1988 compromise agreement.
I like the parliamentary system they have in Taiwan. Good riddance!
Yuck!
Ystakei, thanks for your comments on the foreign observers.
**************************
I agree, too, that the Constitution should be changed. But, it’s Gloria and JdV who make Cha-Cha stink like hell! Can’t GLORIA & HER LEGIONS accept that they are NOT TRUSTED BY THE FILIPINOS? GLORIA POSSESSES THE KISS OF DEATH.
Hehehehe.Nek nek mo trapo, sino pa(?), de ikaw tengang dagajdv! You can shove your bullshit dreams down thru your black throat, till you choke to death, trapo!!!Hehehhe, you can go to Iraq or Somalia and apply their for the prime minister position, and be assasinated or beheaded, joy!
In the end kayong mga mandaraya, sinungaling at magnanakaw sa pekeng gobyernong ito, will pay if not in this life, the next!Hinihintay lang ikaw trapo tengang dagajdv ni taning to dance your chacha, sama yung pandak, baboy na asawa, mga tongressman, alipores, mga nagpakaputang heneral, grand-orgy kayo with taning, oh, by the way this dumarpa bitch nandoon na ahead of you, not because she ate baboy, but because baboy ang kanyang puso at ugali, mwahahahahah!

DKG,
I know of a once trusted staff of Taenga whom he proudly told of this Landoil deal. Buti at binuhay mo!
Let us not forget that the only reason why the Bansot wants this ChaCha is because she wants all hindrances to her becoming a queen someday soon removed like the Senate, will of the people, election, etc.
De Venecia on the other hand is playing the role of the Rasputin for his own benefit together with the husband, who claims that he is not a public figure being mouthed by his lawyer even when he is although it seems his lawyer does not even distinguish I guess between a public figure (pigyur) and a public servant/official. They are two different things as a matter of fact.
Related Topic—I actually posted this in another forum for overseas Filipinos:
It is the same in Japan. I have been informed by my contacts at the Philippine Embassy that the registration in Japan this year is a dismal disappointment. If this is not enough show of disapproval for this political dispensation, what is?
Frankly, unlike in 2003, I have decided to stay away from this registration, not that I believe in the futility of fighting for this basic and inalienable right to vote by overseas Filipinos, but the last registration was a bad experience, not just a bad example, for many Filipinos in Japan enough for them to lose faith in this exercise for as long as the Philippines is headed by a bogus president.
To many of us here as a matter of fact, for as long as Mrs. Pidal Arroyo refuses to acknowledge the legality of an impeachment to which she should allow herself to be subjected in order to prove whether or not she has stolen 1M votes in the last election, it will be difficult for her to rule and to erase the doubt about the legitimacy of her presidency. Mere propaganda will never make the trick undoubtedly!
Another reason for the “lukewarm” response to this registration is the unreliability of the COMELEC to operate a clean election. The Garci tape fiasco is a good example.
Furthermore, a lot many voters here who took pains to travel far and wide to get registered were disenfranchised and deprived of their right to vote. As the old saying goes, “One bite too many. Once bitten, twice shy” An injury makes a person wary of its cause.
PATALSIKIN NA, NOW NA!

Hon. Commissioner Florentino Tuason, Jr.
Chairperson, Committee on Overseas Absentee Voting
Commission on Elections
7/F Palacio del Gobernador
Gen. Luna St., Intramuros
Manila, Philippines 1002
Subject: Request for Voting by Mail in Saudi Arabia in 2007 National Elections
Dear Commissioner Tuason:
No one can paint an accurate picture of the sacrifices we’ve gone through during
the 2004 election. The untiring efforts of NGOs in information campaign,
transporting voters, employer-employee coordination and other volunteer works in
relation to OAV is hard to duplicate.
Voting by mail provides a very good alternative to personal voting, and will
surely boost the total number of OFW voters’ participation from the Kingdom. In
fact, judging from the size of the host country, its local laws and the limited
capability of the majority of OFWs to travel long distance, Saudi Arabia should
be on top of the list of countries where voting by mail should be allowed.
The following are some of the reasons why postal voting is more favorable than
personal voting:
1) The Saudi postal system is just as efficient and reliable as the postal
system in many countries in the West notably in Europe and North America. It
uses the P.O. Box system, which is the same system in the UAE. Each company and
household owns a postal box number. In companies, a mail person collects the
mails regularly, sorts them out and distributes them to the employee-recipients,
with ease and efficiency. Conversely, the mail person collects all mails for
sending out and posts them accordingly.
2) If OAV will be by mail, OFWs can make representations with their management
to ensure that mails are collected from the post office every day during the
period the mailed ballots from Comelec are expected to arrive. In addition, OFWs
will ensure that mails for the period covered are closely monitored and more
frequently checked by the mail person. The same approach can also be done by
those employed as household help.
3) Saudi Arabia, host to close to a million OFWs, is 7 times bigger than the
Philippines but only three places served as voting centers during the 2004
elections.
First is the Philippine embassy which is located inside the diplomatic area in
Riyadh. It is at least 35 kilometers from the three industrial estates where a
large number of OFWs employed in manufacturing and construction companies are
located. It is also at least three hours drive from the nearest city that is
within its area of service coverage. No public transport is allowed to enter the
Diplomatic Quarter, only private cars and company buses.
Second is the consulate-POLO office in Jeddah, which is at least 3 to 4 hours
drive from the nearby cities of Taif, Yanbu, Makkah, and Madinah. The Industrial
area is a one hour travel by public transport. Third is International School in
Al Khobar.
Prohibitive distance and absence of mass transportation facility was the major
cause of the low voters turn out during the 2004 elections. It is also the
reason why this year, the committee on OAV registration was allowed by Comelec
to conduct registration on site. Voting by mail is a good solution to this
problem.
4) Another reason why OFWs were hesitant to go to the voting centers to exercise
their right of suffrage is the fear that a mass gathering of OFWs may invite
unnecessary attention from the Saudi public and government. Voting by mail will
solve this problem.
Therefore, we, members and representatives of the OFW community in Saudi Arabia,
strongly request that postal voting be considered in the conduct of OAV in Saudi
Arabia next year and in future exercises.
We trust that COAV will give this appeal its due attention and merit. Thank you.

community,
No one can paint an accurate picture of the sacrifices we’ve gone through
during the 2004 election.
In
fact, judging from the size of our host country, its local laws and the limited
capability of the majority of OFWs to travel long distance, it should be on top
of the list of countries where voting by mail should be allowed.
Attached is an appeal to Commissioner Tuason, chair of the Overseas Absentee
Voting, for the inclusion of Saudi Arabia among the countries where postal
voting will be allowed in next year’s elections.
Since this request must reach the Comelec as soon as possible, I suggest that
after you have taken the signatures of your officers/members or co-employees,
please fax or email the signed petiton directly to Commissioner Tuazon at:
COAV@… copy Ellene Sana and myself. It will also be nice to copy
furnish our embassy/consulate and DFA OAVS chair, Amb Rafael Seguis.
Please pass a copy of this appeal to our other friends whose email addresses
are not in my list.
Thank you sand warm regards.

I was told of a bunch of written ballots that came from Comelec Manila to Tokyo and Osaka on the pretense that they were ballots sent out by voters here because Japan was one of the two posts allowed to do voting by mail but were mistakenly sent to the COMELEC that I’m told by the Japanese Post would be impossible because there were return envelopes with the addresses of the Philippine Embassy and the Consulate and not the Comelec!
Iyon ang mga nabilang na discrepancies that the Philippine Embasy could not answer when we questioned such discrepancies as the obvious shredding of votes from FPJ and Roco and added to the Bansot’s.
There is actually nothing wrong with voting by mail. Japanese voters do that in fact, but then, it is OK in Japan because generally speaking, people here are honest, and bureaucrats who run the election do not connive with elected politicians!
Woe to the bloody city!! It is all full of lies and robbery.
The noise of a whip, the noise of rattling wheels, prancing horses and chariots.
The horseman lifts up the bright sword and spear: and there ia a multitude of the slain, great number of carcasses; there is no end of their corpses.
Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the harlot, the mistress of witchcraft, that sells natios through her whoredoms and families through her witchcrafts.
Behold, I am against thee said the Lord, and I will uncover your skirt upon your face, and I will show the nations your nakedness, and the kingdoms your shame.
And I will cast abominable filth upon you, and make you vile and I will set you as a gazing stock.
And it shall come to pass that they that look upon you shall flee and say; The harlot is laid waste.. Who shall bemoan her??
