Thanks for keeping the fires burning while I was away.
I just came in and I’ll try to share with you some info in my mail. I just have to do my Abante column.
Anna, I’d be happy to get pictures of your activities while Gloria is there. Please make kuwento.
I’m reading your comments and it helps me get back emotionally to the current issues that plague this country.
Welcome back, Ellen. How was your vacation?
Remember what I said about the buhok. Apparently, I was right when I questioned the sanity of such suggestion kasi nakakabara lang lalo ang buhok!
Anyway, take your time. Mahirap mapagot ka kasi baka mabinat ka. Filipinos cannot afford to lose someone like you as a matter of fact.
Mabuhay ka! Thanks for the info on the Erap movie. I understand there are lots of people downloading the movie now especially when it can be a collectible someday.
I am distributing the movie here wit bonus of the Garci tape that my friends in the media here in fact fully know about. My Japanese at the TV studio in fact cannot understand why the Ale Boba is still there with all these proofs of abuse, steaking, cheating, etc.
Oh the power of money—not from the CIA but from gambling lords, not doubt, and the loans here and there. Bayad sa utang loan din!!!
Ingat!
Welcome Back, Ms. Ellen!
Hope your vacation refreshed you for the fight ahead…..
Cheers!
hello Ellen..
welcome back!…even if ur back..still maintain that aura of peace even if are in the midst of chaos 🙂
Oops, this should read: I am distributing the movie here WITH bonus of the Garci tape that my friends in the media here in fact fully know about. My Japanese FRIENDS at the TV studio in fact cannot understand why the Ale Boba is still there with all these proofs of abuse, steaking, cheating, etc.
ALL THE JAPANESE I HAVE GIVEN THE ERAP DVDS AND GARCI TAPES ARE ACTUALLY OFFERING PAYMENT EVEN JUST FOR THE DISKS I USED IN RECORDING THE MATERIALS NOW AVAILABLE ON CYBERSPACE (THE ERAP MOVIE IS NOW ON ALL BITTORRENT SITES) TO HELP OUR MOVEMENT. IYONG MGA PINOY GUSTO TY!!!
APPARENTLY A MATTER OF CULTURAL DIFFERENCE RATHER THAN A MATTER OF ECONOMICS BECAUSE ALL THE FILIPINOS HERE HAVE JOBS KAHIT NA DOMESTIC HELPER, ETC. LANG!
ellen,
welcome back and hope you’ve got fully energized (parang battery, ha?). nakapagdala ka ba ng damong mabaho para sa surot?
Welcome back Ellen, missed telling you, I’m Ilongo from the town of Alimodian, Iloilo and I still go home and refresh once in a while. The last two vacations I spent were all in Davao where my other brother’s family live and Manila where the other one reside. divide my time with both. We speak the same dialict then. Ours is kinaray-a mixed with hiligaynon. yes, we have fun while you’re away, but we remain well-behaved.
‘yaan mong masabon ni ma’am ellen. he he he hehhh (sipsep daw ako)
Welcome back, Ms. Ellen. Hope you were able to rejuvinate, and had a good one.
Hi Ellen,
Hope you had a wonderful rest. Good to see you back!
A protest organized by Stop the killings in the Philippines Belgium chapter will be staged tomorrow at 12h30 on Place Schumann in Brussels.
70 to 100 people are expected to attend the protest and a few members of the Belgian parliament will be there.
If I get the chance to speak to one of them, I will and will tell you accordingly.
Migrante Europe people will also be at the picket.
just to be a bit different-velkommen tilbake ellen, which is almost english.
Guess who was the first to welcome you? Your good comadre. She behaved like an Empress when you were away, Ellen. I don’t mind if you delete this post as long as you get to read this. I hope you could use your influence by advising some people to learn how to be humble and lessen their display of arrogance in this blog. It’s one thing to share an opinion and discuss certain issues, and it’s another thing to keep insulting other people. Racist tone still continues. I do hope some control and good ethics could be applied through your kind guidance from now on.
Noel, you have already made clear your impression of Yuko. Noted na. Please, please, that’s enough. If you don’t like what she is saying, ignore it.
Personal feuds are a waste of time.
I needed to take a vacation because I had not been well for sometime. Overworked and lack of sleep. I was able to get a good rest and reconnect with where I came from.
Ellen:
I also would like to say welcome back Ellen. I hope you had a great vacation. Certainly, you were missed.
Again, it’s wonderful to see you back to work. Have a great first day and the rest to come.
ellen: 200 percent agree with you. no need to burden you with complains.like a radio or tv one can always switch off if one does not like what one see or hear.hope you will continue to recover both in health and mind.
Ellen:
No personal feud as far as I am concerned because I don’t even read some of the items in this blog. Sabi ko nga kay Norpil, I don’t read notes from the Pidals’ Internet Brigade. Halata naman e.
Anna:
I sent the T-shirts yesterday by EMS yesterday. It takes only two or three days to get to Europe EMS sent from Japan. Baka makahabol.
Anyway. you can use them for other meetings. Regarding your information on the Filipinos in Helsinki, pihado ko mga kabalen although over in Tokyo, a lot many of the kabalens are not even interested in meeting the Ale Boba. I guess it is because they are kabalens from Tarlac! Kababayan ni Cory!!! 😛
agree with ystakei about feuds, not for me either.besides we can always agree to disagree, just to borrow one of the comments i learned in this blog. problem is one become dependent on this blog that it is hard not to read comments, it is like peeping into others thoughts.for me understanding them is like a cure.
Hello Ellen, nice to see you again.
I posted the following in the wrong thread; would have wanted to post it here so am copying it here. Ellen, hope you don’t mind.
Gloria’s Euro trip:
Thanks Yuko. I will give 2 of the T-shirts to the organizers of Stop the Killings in the Philippines, although don’t think they will be wearing them tomorrow beceause the parcel might not arrive on time. Will tell them coming from you.
Norpil, do let me know when you are coming over to Brussels – will be happy to meet with you.
Btw, to Mrivera, and to Noel Pongco, thanks for your kind words (re my story about my Dad whom I miss a lot).
To Ellen and Chabeli, the Filipino community will be hosting a huge welcome mass for Gloria and are expecting 700 Filipinos to attend but they aren’t sure. Ambassador Ortega met with some 50 Pinoy leaders here and each of them is tasked with a “duty”. I’ve just discovered that Gloria is very popular among our kababayans who are “excited”, quoting one leader, about the visit of Gloria. Why am I saying this because I don’t think anybody will have the chance to do a pie throwing. I refuse to attend the mass welcome ceremony because, I will feel hypocritical about it.
I will attend the rally together with anti-Gloria protesters; the rally will be a mix of¨Pinoys, Belgians, Dutch, French… organizers expect no more than 100 people to participate in the rally but local Belgian and European media will be on hand for the occasion.
The organizer of the Stop the Killings in the Philippines protest would have liked Philippine media to cover and so I asked a very close friend of mine who works for the Philippine Star to do it and will cover the demonstration.
Gloria will be meeting with the Prime Minister of Belgium and the President of the European Commission in succession. She will also be at the Senate, Belgian Parliament to discuss federalism, parliamentary mode of government with members of the Belgian parliament.
Two Belgian parliamentarians will be demonstrating with the anti-Gloria group tomorrow; unfortunately, Gloria won’t see the demonstration because the group managed to get rally permit only for Place Schuman, in front of the European Parliament – I suppose, she will be whisked away to other venues.
According to the organizer of the rally, they will not demonstrate in front of the St Michael Cathedral where the mass-reception ceremony will be held in order not to put off the Pinoy OFWs or the Fil community here. They cannot demonstrate in front of the residence of the Belgian Prime Minister because the place is no rally zone.
Their main objective is to call the attention of European parliamentarians to the plight of Filipinos who are opposing Gloria in the countryside and so, prefer to stage the rally in front of the European Parliament.
The rally will be attended by Filipinos from Migrante Europe and by members of Philippine local NGOs who have friends and connections here in Brussels.
I will brief you further when I see them on the spot tomorrow.
Thanks a lot to all of you, including those I have not mentioned in this brief, for your interest, dear friends.
Good luck! Please make known to Gloria what you feel about her.
Thanks, Ellen, will do!
See? I was suspected and even accused of being a member of Pidal’s brigade. How do you deal with it, Ellen? Just ignore it? Or do I see this blog similar to Malacanang’s goons trying to protect their own? I’m sorry I think it’s not enough to tell me to ignore without advising these special species to stop their false accusation. I’m not and will never be part of Pidal’s internet brigade. I don’t mean to bother you Ellen especially with your health; but please do your part as moderator to discipline erring members even if they happen to be very close to you. I don’t ask for anything more other than a little fairness.
On behalf of all the citizens of http://www.ellentordesillas.com, I warmly welcome you back. Hope you had a great time.
WELCOME BACK NAY’ ELLEN!!! – THE PRIDE OF PANAY!!!
A five day vacation to attend my Uncle’s 50th Wedding Anniversary(April 29). And I have my own interpretation of celebrating the R.A. 1414. Both of my Tatay and Nanay’s grandparents are from PANAY that’s why I really appreciate it very much.
Thank you, thank you.
tama lang naman na ang mga personal indifferences ay huwag pabayaang maging dahilan ng hindi magandang samahan. kung meron mang nanggulo huwag na lang pansinin dahil lalong gugulo. let us just stick to our purpose – seek the truth.
hahaha norpil…ang uso dito sa pinas na by-word most of the time pagka may arguments…is it a DEAL or NO DEAL?!!! i say DEAL to having our sentiments aired in whatever way we wana express it…NO DEAL to personalan…We are mostly in the “same boat”…lets not leave the boat in the middle kc pagka magkakagulo tayo who agreed to be in one boat, we will never reach the shore..kung baga..one will paddle to the left and the others to the right…so guys..we will paddle till we reach the murkey shore the EK and ipukpok natin ang paddle sa mukha ng mga pidals!!!!!
May away ba dito?
Tangina niya!
