I just cannot accept that it’s a crime to try to remove Gloria Arroyo from the presidency that she illegally assumed first, when she grabbed power from an elected president in January 2001, and second, when she cheated in the 2004 elections.
Malacañang accuses everybody who calls for the ouster of Gloria Arroyo as destabilizers and has filed rebellion cases against Anakpawis Rep. Crispin Beltran, 1st Lt. Lawrence San Juan and until it was dismissed last week by a regional trial court, the Batasan 5 (Satur Ocampo, Joel Virador, and Teddy Casiño of Bayan Muna, Rafael Mariano of Anakpawis and Liza Masa of Gabriela.)
Malacañang claims that San Juan, who belongs to the rebel Magdalo soldiers, conspired with the progressive groups that the representatives are identified with, to bring down Arroyo. So?
Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez and presidential chief of staff Mike Defensor couldn’t hide their excitement over the case of Fil-American intelligence analyst Leandro Aragoncillo who reportedly passed on classified information from the White House and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to former President Estrada and other opposition personalities.
Gonzalez and Defensor said the documents in the Aragoncillo case could be used in filing rebellion cases against Estrada and other recipients of the documents which were mostly analysis of US officials in Manila on the Arroyo administration. The two claim that Estrada and company used the documents to oust Arroyo. Even if it’s true, so what?
The military is investigating more than a dozen officers led by Brig. Gen. Danny Lim and Lt. Col. Ariel Querubin for planning to withdraw support from the fake president last February during the 30th anniversary of the first People Power.
What’s wrong with asking that adherence to the Constitution be restored in this country? To oust Gloria Arroyo is not to allow power grabbers and election cheaters to get away with their crime.
To oust Gloria Arroyo is a step towards stabilizing the country.

Those who are calling for the resignation of Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez, please stop.
Gonzalez is doing those who want to oust Arroyo a big favor.
Look at what he has done, according to the Counsels for the Defense of Liberties:
First, he allowed her to go on with her plans to impose PR, EO 464 and PP 1017 which were all thumbed down by the Supreme Court as unconstitutional.
Second, he was recently rebuffed by the Arroyo government when it disagreed with his excited and ecstatic ‘legal opinion’ to ask for the extradition of Michael Ray Aquino and prosecute those involved in the Aragoncillo case.
Third, he was strongly rebuffed in his attempt to have the Batasan 5 arrested which would have been politically costly for the Arroyo government. He showed his lack of legal expertise when he filed a substantially and fatally defective amended complaint before the Makati Regional Trial Court.
Fourth, he has been overstepping his functions, which should not only be a cause for concern for the executive branch but also a cause for embarrassment.
“Nowhere in these functions does it provide that the Justice Secretary has to provide advance legal opinion to the media and discuss government policies in public. Gonzalez has committed acts that are ultra vires, and has trampled on the functions of the Executive Secretary, Press Secretary, the Presidential Spokesman, the Solicitor General and even the spokespersons of the AFP and the PNP,” Codal said.
Codal said Arroyo should retire Gonzalez. I disagree.
There are no two people in this world who deserve each other more than Arroyo and Gonzalez.

What I cannot understand is why the Philippines is not protesting the US’s spying on the Philippines and the government of Gloria.
The US Intelligence’s assessment of the Gloria is based on information they have gathered in the Philippines by means only they know, perhaps even including wiretapping. That in my book is spying. Their acts were divulged by Agoncillo to Erap and now it turns out also to Gloria. So, who committed a crime in the Philippines? Surely, it is not Erap and not even Gloria, but the US who is guilty. How come we are not running after them?
The answer is simply that this government is a master of SPINNING everything to their advantage. Their spin now is against Erap but ironically it is the US who has done something against the Pilipino people that they are covering up by running after Agoncillo, who has done a crime in the US.
If the US can claim a right to spy on us, is it not our right to counterspy?
About Gonzales, you are right, he and Gloria deserves each other. Ang sabi ng lolo ko, mahusay silang maglubid ng buhangin. But while it maybe alright for Defensor and Bunye & Ermita to do this, it is virtually a crime for the chief of DOJ to do it. However, that is what he is there for – to work for the defense of Gloria. Instead of observing the rule of law, he looks for laws no matter how old, distant or irrelevant, to support their SPIN for GMA.

What happened between the resigned CIA director and President bush is one classic example between what is right and wrong, Porter Goss doesn’t want the US to go to war in IRaq, but as President of the US of A bush prevailed. Goss tried to correct the information given to bush but instead, proceeded to go to war in IRaq, and goss resigned.
Here in the Philippines, if people try to right what is wrong, you will be labeled as anti-government.

Now it can be told (again) that in 2000 there was this conspiracy to topple the legitimate administration of erap, as claimed by aragoncillo. In the previous discussion, I mentioned that in the last half or quarter of 2000 when then congressman defensor visited thailan, he mentioned that they are planning to impeach erap or worse have him removed from office. Then came the fateful January 2001, when the elite mob forced erap to leave the palace.
Now, if this is true, why isa it that the administration trying to tell us???? simple, its okay to impeach, worse removed the sitting president then, than trying to impeach the questionable mandate of gloria today. It is okay to railroad everythin then, but now, you will slapped with CPR, 1017 and 464.
Before, as claimed again, erap did nothing to the group of gloria, when she was meeting with the elite mobs and the prostituted AFP. Now if there is a rumor of of a meeting, the administration will slapped them with everything.

HYPOTHESIS.– A fact that was accepted but yet to be proven in so many ways whether by scientific method, by law or by any means. That is the case of the president’s cheating in the election. If we can remember that the supreme court had overturned the proclaimation of the president about the state of emergency and the the action of the police in arresting suspected anti goverment personalities, then we have the trust that nobody is above the law. In the same way, if we have the guts and proof that the president had cheated, we will challenge her to the court or to the commision on election. This is the way the intellects acts because we have the law. Then after this enlightenment, stop the way we are telling the people that the president had cheated.
