Halatang ni-nerbyus si Charlie “Atong” sa kanyang pagbalik sa Pilipinas noong Biyernes. Nakapusas siya, naka bullet-proof vest at guwardiyado ng mga armadong kalakihan.
Sa interview sinabi ni Atong na nagsisi raw siya na nakihalo siya sa pulitika na siyang sinisisi niya sa kanyang kinalalagyan ngayon. Paano yun ay pulitika rin ang paggamit sa kanya nina Gloria Arroyo at Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson para idiin si dating Pangulong Estrada.
Ang away nina Erap, Chavit at Atong ay parang Mafia war o away ng mga gangster.
Kung gagamitin ng Malacañang si Atong laban kay Estrada at sa iba pang gusto nilang sirain katulad ni Sen. Panfilo Lacson, ibig sabihin noon, aayusin nila ang ibang krimen ni Atong.
Katulad ng kanyang pagkasanggot sa kidnapping at sa pawnshop robberies. May record ito sa anti-kidnapping task force noong panahon pa ni Estrada.
Noong bagong upo si Estrada bilang presidente, may mga miyenbro ng anti-kidnapping task force na nagbigay sa kanya ng mga pruweba ng pagkasangkot ni Atong sa tatlong kidnapping ng mga Tsinoy. Ang isa ay kaibigan niya at ang isa naman ay pamangkin pa niya. Ang ransom ng kanyang pamangkin at P39 milyon.
Ayaw maniwala si Estrada. Pati rin daw si Lacson ay hindi kaagad kumagat sa sumbong hanggang nagkaroon sila ng isang operasyon na nasunog dahil nasa payroll pala ni Atong ang isang pulis. Doon naniwala si Lacson. Mga ilang buwan ang nakalipas, pinakita niya kay Estrada ang dokumento ng pagkasangkot ni Atong sa mga nakawan sa pawnshop.
May balita na nagalit si Estrada kay Atong nang gustong pasukin nitong sigang Tsinoy ang smuggling ng asukal. Nang hindi pumayag si Erap, pinaala-ala niya kay Estrada ang kanyang tulong noong kampanya. Pumanting raw ang tenga ni Erap ay sinabing, “Magkano ba ang ginastos mo sa kampanya ko. Bayaran kita.”
Mula noon, ayaw na makita ni Estrada si Atong sa kanyang bahay sa Polk st. sa Greenhills at sa Malacañang. Kaya kay Chavit binigay ang pangungulekta sa jueteng na dati ay gawain ni Atong.
Kaya lang, hindi tumagal nagkabati na naman si Atong at si Estrada. At ipinasok ang bingo-two balls na ikinagalit ni Chavit dahil mawawalan siya ng negosyo. Alam naman natin kung ano ang nangyari pagkatapos noon. Nagka-impeachment. At naging hero kuno si Singson.
Bago dumating dito sa Manila si Atong, ilang beses siyang binisita ni Chavit sa Las Vegas. Mukhang magkaibigan na naman itong dalawa.
Sabi ni Atong marami raw siyang natanggap na death threats. Hindi nakakapagtaka. Mukhang marami siyang dapat pagbabayaran.
Atong Ang should not be acting as if he’s a saint. He benefited so much from Erap. When Ang was still so powerful, he had a huge security group. One time, he beat up a congressman inside a cockpick arena. That was played in the media. Ang was a crook like Singson. It’s not true he was just involved in politics and war among the Mafia groups. He was in politics and part of the Mafia. In fact, Erap was the victim because he was caught in between the war between Ang and Singson. Erap could have sided with Ang; hence, Ang says he still loves Erap. Ang should not be worried about the opposition or Erap’s men who would hurt him in Manila. He should be more worried with GMA and Pidal’s gang who may want him silenced and dead; then blame this on Erap or Lacson.
What can you expect, Ellen, especially when you have a police force that connives also with these Mafia gangs calling themselves officials of the Philippine government? I don’t even see Ang being really perturbed while escorted by the NBI, etc. Para lang, “Light, camera, action!” Sinong niloloko ng mga kumag na ito?

Contrary to Toney Cuevas assertions that Chavit Singson is untouchable, I do believe nobody is, at the moment he might be since he is still useful for the people more powerful than he is. In one interview, Atong Ang did say that his regret was getting involved in politics. That statement alone, to me, says a lot about the guy. He actually thought so highly of himself-the power he posessed at that time must have made him so drunk…and in a blink of an eye, he lost it.

Naman! kung yung colonel inuutusan ng heneral para itaob ang kung sinong kalaban, tenyente pa! Mas malala pa nga ngayon si Palparan kesa sa MISG noon.
Yung Kuratong, patay na kaso na, naareglo na yung mga biktima, para sa akin kung ganun katalamak ang isang sindikato, hindi na dapat talaga binubuhay pag nahuli. Kaya plinano yung Dacer-Corbito dahil two birds with one stone, si Erap na kumakandidatong pangulo, at si Lacson na PNP Chief niya. Walang record si Erap na ipinapatay kahit na hari pa siya ng San Juan at napakalakas ng kapit kay Makoy. Ang suspetsa ko diyan, si Berroya, si Ramos (dahil siya ang huling bisita ni Dacer sa Manila Hotel office), o ang mga pinuno ng mafia sa ilog Pasig.
Hindi na kailangan ni Erap sirain ang pangalan niya kung kelan siguradong walang talo siyang kakandidato sa pagka-presidente. Lalong walang pakinabang si Lacson kay Dacer dahil wala naman siyang interest na mapapaboran kung sakali.
Kaya naman natatakot si Ang dahil tuwing pumapapel ang grupo ni Rosebud, violence naman ang ibinabato nito kahit walang pruweba. Pati tuloy ang kawawang ex-boyfriend ginawang sample para ipatong kay Ping pero walang kumagat. Nasayang lang ang buhay ni John na kakilala namin. Baka si Ang naman ang isunod.
Nung isang araw sinabi ni Rosebud, gagamitin daw si Danny Devnani, yung bumbay na tetestigo sana sa impeachment ni Erap na halata namang pakawala ni Rosebud/Berroya, na tetestigo para ibaon si Ping sa kung anu-anong tinahing kasinungalingan at hulaan ninyo kung sino ang kasama ni Singkit na mukhang espasol, si Atty. Leonard Devera, yung US-practicing lawyer na nasibak ang lisensiya dahil kinokotongan ang mga kliyente niya!
Tama kayo, sindikato ang kalaban ni Lacson sa Maynila kaya mas maganda ang laban dahil walang inatrasang sindikato iyang si Ping at nasa likod niya ang mga kakilala ko sa Binondo. Kahit pa intsik din si Rosebud, ikinakahiya siya ng mga intsik diyan dahil sabihin ba naman sa Senadong naging clerk siya ng “Binondo Central Bank” na isa lamang figure of speech! Panggap talaga! Ipaalala ninyo kay Rosebud iyan at siguradong mamumula ang mukha kundi maiihi sa pantalon.
Ngayon pa lang matindi na ang pustahan sa Ongpin, plus 1 million votes pa daw si Rosebud. Ongpin? Teka,…Ong vs. Ping?

Kinumpirma kahapon ni Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson ang kanyang planong paghingi ng suporta kay dating Pangulong Joseph “Erap” Estrada kaugnay sa pagtakbong alkalde ng Maynila.
Ayon kay Lacson, malaking tulong ang basbas ni Estrada para makuha ang solidong boto sa Tondo area na deklaradong balwarte ng dating Pangulo, simula nang pumalaot ito sa pulitika.
Posibleng mahati ang boto sa Tondo, ayon kay Lacson, kapag tumakbo ang kanyang kaibigan at katabi ng upuan sa Upper House na si Sen. Alfredo Lim, dating alkalde ng Maynila.
“Makakatulong siya (Erap) dahil alam mo naman sa first district at second district sa Tondo area ang lahat ng hatak ni former President Erap pero hindi pa kami nakakapag-usap tungkol sa plano sa Maynila at saka nasa kanya kasi iyon,” ani Lacson.
Umaasa si Lacson na kikilalanin ni Estrada ang kanilang pinagsamahan sa mahabang panahon, hindi lamang ang pagiging mag-kumpare kundi ang pagkakaibigan, katulad din ng namamagitan sa kanila ni Lim, dating kalihim ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) sa panahong nakaupong PNP chief ang senador.
“Magkakaibigan kami, ako, si Senator Lim at si Erap, magkukumpare nga kami, eh. So kung sinuman ang kanyang tutulungan o kaya kung hindi siya makikialam eh hindi ko ikakasama ng loob iyon kasi kapag papasok ka sa isang larangan dapat pakita mo ang kaya mong gawin at tumayo ka sa sarili mong paa, pero siyempre welcome pa rin kahit sinong makakasuporta,” ani Lacson.
Anumang araw, handang umakyat ng Tanay, Rizal si Lacson upang bisitahin si Estrada. “Wala pang iskedyul pero kami namang dalawa ay nag-uusap maski noong mga nakaraang buwan, pumasyal naman ako sa kanya sa Tanay, Rizal para makipag-usap,” ani Lacson.
Although I support Ping, sometimes I don’t like the way he flip flops. At first, he said he didn’t need Erap’s blessing. Now that he was taken out from Erap’s list, Lacson now admits he needs Erap’s help and blessing even in Manila. Lacson has now become a true politician. But, this should not take away his qualification to be Manila’s Mayor or any public office in the land. If there’s a saying “Only few good men”, we can say there’s “Only few good politicians”. And Lacson is among the few we have today.
Okay sa akin si Ping sa Maynila, npongco. I still think he’s the best to run the city. Lim is old, he had his good old days already.
I believe that Erap still commands a majority of the pinoys. Huwag na lang magkunwari, aminin na lang, iboboto pa siya ng nakararami.
Hindi siya ang aking presidente noon, but i’m willing to ask my relatives in Manila to vote for him. As for 2010, i’ll wait and see.

Yes, Mr. Rivera. Lacson is aware that Tondo is Erap’s bailwick. That’s why he changes his tone from high to low volume and even planning to visit Erap in his Tanay detention to get his blessing. But, there’s already a stain in their relationship caused by Erap’s inner circle. Those around Erap has been Lacson’s main problem ever since. If there’s a neutral party who could make the two reconcile, it would be good for the opposition. But, who would be this neutral party? I personally believe someone like Mike Velarde or Manalo would be able to help.

Sa totoo lang mga smuggled drugs dito galing sa Indo-China via Pilipinas at Tsina. Marijuana marami sa Pilipinas. Banig-banig ang hakot ng mga smugglers na nahuhuli via Narita or by mail, kasinglalaki ng cushion sa upuan ang sukat ng isang kilo as a matter of fact gaya noong nakuha ng pulis sa ni-raid nilang pinoy smuggler.

The woman accused of being a thief for having stolen the presidency of this country — not once, but twice — is seeing gargoyles on the church’s roof. Her eyes are burning in the presence of evil. They are named Erap, Gringo, Nene, Franklin, Trillanes, Miranda, Nemenzo and go by different colors, mostly red and blue and white and all other hues, but not as green as my mind can get.
Yet she could be so green with envy after learning how lucky these gargoyles could get.
What bulging eyes and a permanent scowl could become the most potent endorser of politicians when the death parade for 2007 comes? Erap, as evil as he could be portrayed by Gloria and her ilk, far from the goody two-shoes of a film era gone by, is back with a vengeance written on his face.
Vengeance can come in the guise of a perpetual smile. Never mind if he is not free. Never mind if he is no longer president. But one raise of a hand, similar to the Cory magic of 1988, could very well transform an obscure man into a powerful politician. All he needs is the blessing of Erap, no longer of Cory and not of the Pope.
That is why Gloria is set to banish him again into what she hopes would be perpetual doom. It has been six years and counting and they could not prove Erap as having stolen from the country’s coffers.
Make him evil. Bring in Atong Ang, Erap’s friend from the good, old days. Tie him in with Gringo, the coup plotter who could never get it right. Name him as chief financier of a people’s revolt, a squatters’ revolt they say. But when will he be ever be convicted for plunder? Did he do it, or did you just do him in?
Erap seems to have gotten good at monopolizing evil. One day he could be Belzeebub, tomorrow he’s the cretin eating your liver while you’re still alive in a hospital bunker. That’s how they, who fear him, see him, and these imagined character of the country’s main political character is being rubbed off on his political peers.
There are about 50 of them immediately gaining national prominence. Many of them first- timers in national politics. Young, brash, idealists and sure of their faith in fate, they are bunking in on Erap’s side for sure winnability.
The surveys don’t lie and, at most times, they are plainly correct. That is why Gloria and her allies are scampering for safety, like Hitler’s Nazis fleeing Stalingrad. On their way home, they spread news of the Russians ransacking homes and eating virgin flesh.
That was how the Nazis made Germans look at the Russians as the Devil’s sons, by making false claims.
How many false claims have been made by this administration for us to believe? Edsa II happened because of one. “Hello Garci” transpired because of another. Joc-Joc Bolante and the fertilizer funds scam cannot be forgotten because it is one. Then, there are more issues unaddressed, and more money believed missing or gone down the drain.
Gloria will not speak about them. But she will talk about evil not being her government.
It’s her words coming out of Gabriel Claudio’s mouth.
Francis Escudero, not from the very rich Escudero clan of Quezon, but rich anyway, summed it all up when he said: “False prophets are the first to judge their fellow men because they can’t stand looking at themselves in the mirror and, as the saying goes, it takes one to know one.
But what evil had Escudero done to deserve the tag? He just happened to be passing by when history took a sideturn to correct the mistake of Edsa II, yet Gloria’s allies still want to see history in their own perspective. How the people view it, however, is different and they are expected to speak next year.
Meanwhile, a lightning showed the face of the gargoyles Gloria claimed to have seen on the church’s roof.
They turned out to be angels, alright.
It only depends on whoever is seeing things.

As for Escudero, at least, we know, he does not have the dugo ng aso in his veins. Francis’ grandfather I am told was the founder of the guerrilla movement in the Philippines in WWII. This information I heard from some aging guerrillas themselves who would be willing to vote for Francis as president of the Philippines if he would run for that position! It is for this reason I guess why Malacanang is bent on trying to destroy his reputation, this man who has pure hero’s blood in his veins!!!
