Gloria Arroyo’s bulldozer team wasted no time incrashing the seven impeachment complaints against her. Only one left. The one lodged by the Black and White Movement led by former social welfare secretary Corazon “Dinky” Soliman.
We have no illusions about the fate of the impeachment complaint in Arroyo-controlled Lower House.
But let us make known to them what we feel and what we expect of them.

They won the impeachment battle last year and they are still savoring their ARROGANCE OF POWER because they got away with it. They said they can kill it impeachment-2 in seven days. And began by killing seven impeachment complaints which is a first step.
80 congressmen received money from the Fertilizer Scam and this is part of the impeachment complaint. How do you think they will vote? Did you not hear that they changed the definition of DELICADEZA?
Who cares about logic when you can can change DEFINITIONS anyway. Classroom shortage? Change the definition. Unemployment? Change the definition. Election Cheating? Change the Definition. Corruption? Although we’re happy at least one Complaint was admitted, we are still going to fight for all the Complainants, over a thousand of us, to be included in the 8th Complaint. Like Chiz (or was it Alan Peter? I was there but memory fails me, so much was going on) said, there should be no such thing as “barred Complainants”. Besides, we all signed on to the same Complaint each time.

I think crocodile skin-thick lawmakers do not fully understand the principle “conflict of interest“. They have no DELICADEZA or don’t care at all. If they really accepted indirect bribe like the over-priced liquid fertilizer, then, they must inhibit themselves in the impeachment complaint deliberations. Where’s justice? They cannot represent two conflicting parties in a dispute at the same time. The Filipino people no longer tolerate Moro-Moro deliberations. Their anger and desperation had long been crystallized. Even if I am not a Philippine voter nor know who represents the area where my properties are and I pay taxes for, but I may just as well write to anyone in the Philippine Congress. Maybe, I’ll write to Ablan of Ilocos Norte whom my uncle says is related to my mother. Personally, I don’t like the guy for what I am hearing about him, but I may just as well write him and yes, even Imee Marcos, and challenge them to prove that they’re worth the votes of the people who put them where they are now.
We did this letter writing in fact when we were advocating for the OAV Bill. I keep a letter in fact from the representative of a district in Pangasinan, and he was convinced to vote for the OAV Law.
It’s time to make these Congressmen work for the people, not for the crook who plunders the treasury to bribe them.

It’s useless to write our congressmen to support the 2nd impeachment on the leprechaun, you ask why??? look what happened yesterday, again on mere technicality they rejected the the other complaints, now to those people who are saying that the pro-impeachment congressmen are making mockery of the impeachment should tell themselves, the pro-impeachment congressmen are correct, why again??? because these anit-ipeachment congressmen has just thrown in the waste basket the other complaints because of technicality. But if these people will take a look at the complaints, they are one and the same, the pros filed it only on different dates so as to counter the technicality that thses anti-impeach congressmen will impose on the pros.

The reality is…until now, the opposition is still disunited. Gloria’s puppets in Congress are now laughing. If you ask my honest opinion, the only solution is another People Power, a Revolution, a Civil War or whatever you want to call it. The bottom line is to kick out this Gloria!

One thing I don’t do is listen to people who have not even tried to do anything at all but dada and gatong. I have learned a lot of lessons in fact to ignore these provocateurs, and just rely on instinct coupled with faith in God to see satisfactory results of even just this kind of effort of writing to Congressmen who may not even know where he should stand or what to do.
You don’t actually know what you can do to influence others especially when you know what you are talking about not really because you carry th fact but because of inspiration from above and even perhaps your own willingness to do what is right, for when you have that, you’ll be surprised at your own strength and power to stand on your own even when you are alone, and then you find yourself being right and on the right path to achieving something especially when you are doing things unselfishly.
Raffy Biazon was a good example. At the beginning of the advocacy of the OAV Bill, he and his father were rather against it as many thought it was part of the agenda of the Pandak. I hate the same impression at first but found out early that it was no project of the Pandak, who was in fact waiting and see how she could kill the bill if it would prove detrimental to her ambition or support if it would help her achieve her dream of an enchanted kingdom with her as queen that I saw was what she was aiming for the first time I heard of the attempt to tamper records at the National Archives to prove her blood relation with the Tagalog Chieftain, Lakan Dula.
One thing good with the young Biazon was his willingness to learn, and eventually, he was convinced that the movement was genuinely for the sake of the OFWs (defined as “Overseas Filipinos Worldwide” to include non-working overseas Filipinos), and not for any ambitious wannabe president or king or queen. He became one of the group’s ardent supporters as a matter of fact.
This is the reason why it is imperative that you try to write to the representative of the area where you are registered. Who knows but your letter may be a good antidote against any attempt by the Pandak and her minions to undermine this movement to kick her out of not just the palace by the murky river but out of Philippine politics for life, and not just her but also members of her clan, cronies, and friends.

Thanks for the above form. I’ll make copies and pass it on to Filipinos who will attend our rally on the 20th. We are going to have a picket, a street sign-campaign and a forum. We expect to have more than a hundred people attending the forum as a matter of fact.
So what if the Malacanang tongressmen will junk the impeachment? We already know that. The point is what are you going to do about it?
I know a lot of the people in the B&W movement, and I know that they know what they are talking about. If they say, we should write to the Congressmen, even the Tongressmen, I know there is wisdom in doing just that. There is no harm in trying to see how many of the people there are still on the side of the people, and not the squatters at the palace by the murky river they support only because of the bribes they get that come mainly from the national treasury.
Writing to congressmen is a noble thing, a good idea. But, I don’t think people should be pressured into doing it if they think it’s useless. May I remind everyone that if it works in the US and other countries, it doesn’t necessarily mean it would work in the Philppines. In the US, congressmen and senators do pay attention and give you the respect. In the Philippines, your letter may only reach the staff and you’re lucky if the staff hands your letter to his boss. If you’re a VIP or someone who represents a group, you may have a chance to be heard. I’m not being skeptical but that’s how the minds of our politicians work and they way their office operates. Anyway, nothing to lose if we try.

I won’t allow the Internet Brigade of the Pandak to influence anyone here wanting to have the Pandak removed. They are saying this no doubt to discourage the growing sentiment among Filipinos now to RECONCILE and UNITE against the Pandak. Pero wais ang mga ito. Diego, I appreciate the fact that you’re the very few who share my sentiment. While I salute those who organize and come out with laudable projects like Ninoy campaign and writing to our Congressmen, I can’t help but be skeptical. I’m more on the side of reality than false hope.
Npongco, nobody is pressuring anybody. I perfectly undestand if you feel writing congressmen is a useless exercise.
The form is for those who would like to write their congressma/woman to let them know of their sentiments. At least ready na ang form.

I surely love the Malaya editorial today. My comments were as a result of the provocative statements by another; yet she’s always as free as a bird. Anyway, let’s go back to the issues. I don’t mind being shortchanged.
